...I'm running out of clever titles for these things.
As of 20 minutes ago I learned how to make vaginas look wet. Like, I knew in concept how I was supposed to do it, but I just couldn't. Turns out, I was tuning the correct sliders, but on the wrong item.
I can't show what it looks like here, but I posted an example on the discord server.
So, chapter 6: I mentioned before how it was going to be shorter compared to the mammoth that was chapter 5 and more along the lenght of chapter 3, so it shouldn't surprise you that I'm quite close to finish rendering it.
There's just a bit over a week of work left to do (so around 200 renders left) so I'm taking my time making things look as best as they can and trying out new things.
The "main event" in particular (more info down below in the chapter overview section) looks amazing. These might legitimately be some of my best renders yet.
Once the rendering is done there'll be the usual coding (and writing the dialogue for the lewd scenes), for which I'm erring on the side of caution and reserving an entire week of work.
There's a couple of things I want to try and implement (like the ability of naming save files), there's the usual "coming clean with a girl" scene that is always a nightmare to code to take into account EVERYTHING(and eveyone) that the player did and I need to set out the groundwork in the code for the endings (again more on this in the overview).
So, to summarize, a shorter chapter, about 700 renders, lots of backend work, cool renders.
I'm now going to discuss what you can expect in this chapter. This is your last chance to look away if you don't wanna be spoiled! (I will keep things vague, but still). Remember to swing by tomorrow if you are a Roommate or House Cat member to pick up the 4k wallpaper set for September!

This is going to be a shorter one 'cause I'm tired. I've worked non-stop all day on both the game and a commission.
I started coding the chapter on Wednesday (finished rendering Wednesday morning). So far everything is going well.
I aim to finish coding the chapter this weekend and then move on to add a couple of things that have been a long time coming, like naming saves, the endings gallery and several bugfixes.
I also have one more scene from chapter 1 that I want to re-render, but that will be done once the coding is over if I'm not too close to the arbitrary release date I set myself for the 27th/28th.
So far I've redone the first meeting with the roommates and the shower scene. Both look waaaaay better now.
So yeah. I'm gonna go sleep for 12 hours. See you next week for Chapter 6's release!
