first of all, Stop complaining about the game being buggy or is poor. Ive tested far worse games, most not even close to this level. second, the game is a demo and early in its creation. ive never seen a game (that isnt one of those POS money grab crap games) that was perfect right out of the gate. ok now that ive got that out of my system, critique time. For a game jsut out of the gate, its pretty decent art and concept wise. yes it could use some polish and a better menu system. The game speed is a bit fast when you are learning the control but once you get use to it, its fairly easy.
Now for some suggestions: first. slowly increase the zombie spawning speed incrementally, so not to overwhelm new players. second, need a way to replay game without restarting game and third, need a way to skip intro for those who know how the game works.
overall, well done for a what it is. look forward to seeing your next few updates and testing them.
This is a screen cap from the latest version of the game, from December 6th (provided here by me in earlier post). I signed up for the kickstarter on this game in June of 2022. I received a copy of the first playable build of this "mini-game" (how it was considered at the time) in November of 2022. I don't consider the latest update to be "early in its creation" at this point. The bigger point for me though is, it certainty doesn't sound like
they consider this a demo still in design phase. So, I have to say I feel pretty justified in complaining about the play-control and other core features. They seem to think they're done with the game's core design, and I think that's a mistake.
As to people complaining about "stun-lock," some of the recover animations are longer than others, and some of them last several seconds, long enough for me to get bored before we even get to the issue of "stun-locked" as a problem of the enemies approaching.
Aside from the basic gameplay/play-control issues, there are other issues. For example, I'm NEVER happen when people FORCE fullscreen mode on me. I consider it ... "impolite," at best. There are other features that could be added/improved as well, like volume control, level selection, etc.
