The visual style looks interesting. Reminds me of another game where you explore caves.

Is there an ending? I've completed lots of rooms and met an angel (?) who offers to trade items for a change of appearance. But it seems I've just restarted at the beginning after accepting her offer.

Once you get to the end, you get a new form depending on the number of hearts you have. An angel for having more white hearts, a devil for having more black hearts and a succubus for having more read hearts. Then you need to do another run or two to get 15-20 teeth, I had 20 so Idk if 15 is enough, give them to the entity and you get an ending depending on your form. Currently the succubus form doesn't have an ending, Idk about the angel form yet, haven't beaten a run with more white hearts than black or red.
I can make it to more rooms before crashing or bugging out, but the game is still literally unplayable. I wish they would add saves or cheats
The game crashes after h-scenes with new monsters. Is there a way to avoid this? A way to save game, perhaps?
The bug everyone is experiencing is patched in the latest tch.io version, it was a day 1 bug that this version of the game still has, someone will have to get the new update.

I saw a few long hallway rooms that had a yellow box in them that's probably supposed to spawn the screamer but something broke

I played some games of this dev but never liked them enough, but somehow i like this one 
the horror style and letting you wander the world without knowing anything adds something spicy to the gameplay

no matter what you do you WILL be trapped in limbo! you either get stuck out of bounds
on the furnature
the exit door is just eternally LOCKED
or animations screw up in a transition state and you wind up frozen in place.

It's a shame that the game is so buggy, there's a nice concept here but if i'm not getting one shoted from across the room from that angel thing hanging out with the three squids you're supposed to hit, then it's the doppleganger just crashing the game at random and sometimes that one running guy with the blade arms that spawns on a corridor so narrows he just teleports inside of you and hits you twice so if you get hit only once and get that room you just die.
at least with the point 1.5.1 now the bug with you being stuck in a room should be fixed and the fact you have a chance to survive the insta-death monsters is nice
