I don't know how to progress in this update. Quests Task says: "Earn 1,500G and talk to Mesniel". I have 2317G and Mesniel only says: "Don't be late."

I think I've found the bug. Each time you enter the TeacherRoom of the Academy the same event (FirstTimeSlum-2)
repeats and increases the StoryProgression variable. That's why my StoryProgression variable was equal or greater than 82 even if I didn't paid Mesniel.
I've changed the StoryProgression variable to 81 and was able to pay Mesniel and continue the story.

update the game so the combat system is less aids, or add cheats because i dont want to spend all day leveling.

i must be dumb as cant even get past the Treant.. die everytime... very frustrating... looks a good game but you die too easily...
Perhaps the central idea might involve an ouroboros cycle:
By learning from the myth: The idea that dark magic got its renown from a past notorious wizard. Raya takes action to prevent what may happen to her brother. Through said action, Raya becomes a heroine, which eventually leads to her death and thus she becomes a legend. Once again, her brother by learning from the myth: The idea that... And additionally knowing his sister's fate, he takes action. Through said action he may become the very first notorious wizard.

There already are cheats. They're inside the pot near Raya's bedroom.
If I make everything easier, it would become boring for some other players, so I can only suggest you to use cheats if you really can't handle it.

I just gotta say (without spoiling of course).
If the story's ending is making you feel that many emotions for it, that means the dev did his job super well. You got attached to it and the ending had an effect on you. So even though you said you didn't like it, you definitely did for the way it pulled you in.
And that's the beauty of growing attached and relating to a story, it makes you think :3
