There's a big difference actually.

If some1 donates money to a streamer it's usually for one of two (or both) reasons.

1st. Attention, some people either like getting attention from the streamer or the whole stream. So donating 5 dollars in front of 1k+ people usually gets them what they want, attention.

2nd. Content, they value the streamers content and thus, if they can afford it, they decide to support the streamer financially or in other words, give something back.

Both of these reasons are perfectly justified in my opinion.
In both cases it's a fair trade.
Either it's x amount of money for x amount of attention or it's entertainment (which is mostly free) for money (if the person feels like it/got the money).
Both parties benefit from this trade, it's basically a win win situation.

However the issue with Scammers like Miro etc. is that there's no real benefit for the supporter.
Miro's getting the money while not providing what he has promised to provide and instead delivers either nothing or something of far less value.
Hence why it's called "scam".

Whenever something involves a trade where only one participant profits and the other does not (neither short nor long term) there's usually some real fuckery going on.

I hope this kinda explains it, feel free to debate with me if you disagree, I'm curious.

First of all we all crave attention to some extend so I'd leave it to the individual on how he/she decides to satisfy said cravings.

Secondly streamers are entertainers of some sort and if they entertain they do in face provide/contribute actual value to society.
You might not be entertained by any of them but that doesn't mean that others can't be.

I feel like this is starting to go a little off topic so I'll stop now.

After all he/she is doing his/her job and if it actually brings something entertaining then I think it's ok,but also in some aspects you should donate if it is your money and make sure you can afford it,supporting artists and freedom is the right thing to do. I don't think Miro's job is simple,try creating your video or animation or 3D image you will understand it's not easy at all,I think Miro has put in a lot of effort, he/she should be respect.

I wonder if I expect respect for an artist is too much? And I think that for someone who watches too much jav, of course the respect is probably a bit expensive and sounds funny. I'm not discriminating but there is a truth about the jav videos that I browse on websites shows a truly terrible taste,someone said what you like shows your soul so I know it's very difficult to demand respect from a terrible soul.

And as far as proving useless limp wrist streamers provide "actual value", I'm still not convinced. A porter mopping shitty floors in a bathroom provides more value than retarded streamers, but you don't send them donations.

Not that Miro here provides any "actual value" as well, you know. If you want to dickride someone so much there are tons of other artist out there, better and who provides what people support them for.

I hesitate to ask but does anyone know what's going on? The final version of flying high was supposed to be out by now and there hasn't been an update on kemono in a month, so.....?
