Yeouch. That was bad. Like, bad bad. Like watching a bunch of 5-second AI gen clips roughly spliced together. Completely lacking any uniquely identifiable visual style at all. The intro looked like a hundred shitty fake mobile game ads were melted down and fused together in a lab.

I'm not one to moralize about the use of AI to make stuff. But I will call shit shit, and that was shit.

I do support a number of creators here. Started out getting all of them from this site, for free. The ones I want to see more of, I try to support with a few bucks a month.

I just want artist to hear that there are plenty of people who will block out their content if it's AI crap. If they still make more money? Ok, go for it.

Ai can be used to help make good stuff, Stickyspoodge is one creator who has managed it BUT it is not only AI, there is some actual human work put in there to make it actually work and look decent. Compared to, for example, opiumud who released a whooping 6 hour kuroinu parody video that (as expected from opiumud) is some of the lowest quality stuff I have ever seen with very clear and low effort liberal use of AI.

Miro is somewhere in-between where he could use AI to help him make something that looks good but has decided to offload as much as possible on the machine and therefore it's very subpar.

Human made works still dominate in quality on the higher end but if AI can help them push out good stuff faster it's hard not to be conflicted.

Looking at this is like having a fever dream; it's like your own mind is getting warped.
Which ig is a sign of AI intelligence in a way. xD

Holy yap.
Not really, but sure
Imagine running defence for Miro in 2025, have some self respect goddamn.
I'm not defending him specifically, I don't actually follow his work at all, if anything I can defend my statement as it can literally apply to any creator who decides doing 3D is not worth it, it's a lot of work, and if you don't get paid enough to make it or it takes too much time and you just want to create some stuff and find a way to do it with AI, why not? AI will soon take all of our jobs or automate them so much, there may not be much more space for creative folks to make a living, some will be able to do it with AI to stay afloat, others will quit, it's up to fans to support creators so they can keep doing, I actually criticized his work both before and now (before - bimbo futas and overly hyper realistic, now badly executed AI), but I guess that's what happens when one reads only the surface part of the post, I even went on he/she/they/whatever as to imply that I'm neither familiar with him/her/them/it/whatever affect3D even is (a store? an artist? an artists collective? whatever, don't care) and to inform a person reading that I do not know the true reason for them turning to AI, whole point of my post to point out was that it can happen with potentially EVERY creator that makes 3D smut and that you folks should support those who do 3D and you like it, ignore those that do AI if you don't, or still support if their AI work is good (which it can be, but his execution is rather poor, which I also pointed out in my post).

Guy was probably one of the top adult 3D animators, but he definitely wouldn't be the most successful. The rate at which he put out new content means he couldn't compete with animators who just use SFM or a little bit of blender, who has obvious clippings in their works. But they push out more content much faster, it wasn't something that he could change without making lesser products. So I get that Miro wanted to switch to the same method.

See the problem is that Miro isn't taking advantage of the toolset and improve the quality of his work while reducing his workload. Someone like him must have the hardware to run several AI tools locally -- hell, I ran Wan2.2 5B locally on my rig alone. He was working in 3D animation, surely he has the cards to support it. He could learn to use V2V workflows (which they would be able to find easily) and use style LoRAs to reflect their own style. At last it's now the same anyone else's AI generation.

For that matter the style isn't even that realistic to begin with. Either go with photorealism 100% or commit to UHD 3D. That's the sad part of it. I'd even say he could I2V a lot of the works he did for the unfinished bloodlust and other abandoned works with the help of AI
Thank you, one person that got my post and didn't start to just shit on me, that's my point, I do not know his reason, I've pointed out his approach to AI gen is rather poor, he can do better, but it doesn't mean all AI is bad, yet all folks just go apeshit when they see AI instead of pointing out bad use of AI and embracign creators that use it well and can put out quality work, it's still not a "push a button" affair (but then, plenty of people still think that's what CGI and 3D graphics in general is, that you just push few buttons and bam, you get Avatar level image, nah, it's tool like any other, and while it may not be as labour intensive as full 3D workflow, one can still use it in 3D workflow and use other tools to make the final image pleasing). Sadly the issue is many creators just do that, grab first model of the shelf, write some prompts, use one, weak workflow, splice the clips together without any style or extra input and call it a day, that is bad indeed, he did do some stuff well, the intro flows quite nicely, and he did use some extra stuff, like the voice, lipsyncing, all of that had to be done separately, it's just a shame for all that effort, he didn't put effort into what really mattered in that video, it's hard to tell how much of it was his own workflows he made and how much of it was just grabbing other peoples workflow, not modifying anything and going "yep, my job is done". FFS guys, I'm not defending the guys, just pointing out this and what DeviantFiend666 and few others pointed out, not all AI is bad. AI just opened up possibilities for folks that lack time or skills to make stuff, at first you get a wave of rubbish made by folks that don't know how to make good of use of it, but with time creators will come that can make good AI generated stuff. I mean look at how many people did CGI porn before SFM? There was hardly any, most of it was hand drawn, flash animations/games, all that stuff, then we had less of that and more of SFM, then came other creators making stuff in Blender and other 3D software as one could get better quality, better realism, but it took more time, still we should be happy we've been getting so much good stuff for years, now with AI, many that did drawn stuff or SFM will switch to AI for higher realism and faster workflow, while some of the most efficient and talented folks will still use Blender and Cinema4D or Maya to do stuff, eventually even they will switch to AI in the name of efficiency, it's unavoidable, old tech dies, new tech is developed, at first it's rubbish, but shit gets better.
Tool yes, but not as the whole work.
0 respect to anyone that uses AI to do everything for them. No place for them in the art community.
Perfect example of the "push a button" believer, you think AI just spits out stuff for free and with one button click? Look up ComfyUI and see how complex these workflows get, not to mention training models, loras, finetuning stuff, working on prompts, using different tools, editing, voice stuff, lipsyncing, there is still a lot of work to make something good. If you want a true definition of a "one click" AI stuff, look at these short clips people make with WAN, now that truly does not take any work, you just need to download one model, one lora, simple prompt and click a button, that is indeed kinda the shit we can all make even without any technical knowledge, no skills, but to make a longer, coherent video with sound, effects, make it high res enough to be watchable, creating seamless transitions between generated sequences, retaining character coherency, that takes some time, skill and dare I say... effort? Trust me, you can make a decent AI animation, and if you don't believe me and are patient, I may one day prove it that you can make good, coherent, nice looking, stylized animation with AI (that doesn't overly rip off other creators style, but then, most creators kinda do similar things with different characters, very few creators have their own style, usually anime or hand drawn 2D stuff only has a very specific style, rest kinda just do a "overwatch" or "disney/pixar" style, some better, some worse, it's all hardly unique really.
