This happened to me too but I use my old saves to load. I found out that the one thing that causes the crash is that information animation.

I don't think there's a story change probably there's a slight animation change or something like that.

Dev really needs to optimize the game. Why the fuck is my ram usage at 90% for a VN? 16gb is not a lot nowadays but to play a visual novel should be more than enough.
I'll check this in a couple updates. The sex animations with sofia are super laggy for me.

Not sure if this is running a crypto bot in the background or just has the most abhorrent memory leak i've seen in years, especially for a renpy game. v0.3d just completely fries my hardware after 2 minutes of gameplay even in performance mode.

Yea the girls are all beautiful. But he needs to lower the quality of the animations a little. My pc is very outdated but an i7 7700k + gtx 1060 should be more than enough to run a visual novel, and the animations were lagging a lot for me. Not to mention the ram issue.

he only needs to lower the animation quality to 60fps and release a 1080p rend version for people with outdated machines however he should keep the Highend renders around for a premium version my desktop eats this up and plays it fine 5700X3d, 32 GB ram and an RTX3070 as well and an M.2 gen 4 SSD has no issues as of now and the game looks amazing as does the animation.

If possible, please take a screenshot when the game freezes and check the RAM usage at that moment. Let me know how much memory the game is occupying. I’ve been unable to replicate this issue, as I recently played through a fresh start and completed the VN without any crashes on my system.

Don't know if this will be useful since I don't have a log from RenPy or a screenshot, but I'm playing this on an Android tablet with 12 GB of RAM. After 10-15m the game will start flickering and eventually crash. At least for me it seems to be a RAM issue. No overheating or anything going on.
