with the new "war" on adult games can you blame them?
people got to eat and developing adult games is very risky ATM...
and update would have been nice (even if bad, but I can't blame devs for looking for alternatives) i can however blame colective shit, visa, mc, pp and steam... fuck them! I on't know if that's the case with this game, but the recent events don't help...

I agree with what you're saying, but what about Subscribestar? Has anything changed there?
If the problem was with payouts, other games on that platform would likely be affected as well.
Unlike other games on SS, this one isn't even controversial, so I doubt it's related to payment systems, unless I'm missing something...

No but the abandonded tag is kinda arbitrary when an avn gets it or not. There's another title that always get abandoned tag after 3 months, then once a year it updates, tag gets removed for 3 months then it gets the tag again.

You know, they should make a new tag like <radio silence> that if it's not clear if its abandoned, use that. Because throwing everything under the abandoned umbrella is confusing and maybe even hurting the devs since unless I know there are some tag shenanigans, I usually avoid abandoned titles by making them invisible in the update screen.

Imo abandoned means abandoned. As in, it will never update because the dev is gone or doesn't want to work on it anymore or whatever.

I think adding a Dropped tag would be more appropriate, for when the dev has made an active choice to stop working on it.
Abandoned sounds so passive and as you say, it covers too many situations.

Lack of funding always being a major part of the reason for these devs. I mean, why would anyone want to spend a big portion of their time and energy for only what 5-15 subscribers? A totally different story with those devs that got a lot of subscribers, but not doing any work at all, they just milking the situation.

Yeah, I agree. I came across this title and it looked interesting, but the abandoned tag discourages me from giving it a try.
Luckily, there were comments showing that the dev is still working on it.

Honestly, it's a visual novel that's not worth playing. Next month it will turn five years old, and there's barely any content, both for story or for lewd scenes.
