Game's restricted to patreons only, if you want to play you HAVE to pay, otherwise you can't. The dev of Lust has gotten exceedingly greedy.
so from now on we could not play the game without being patreon ?

Lust requires you to log-in with your paid Patroen account and be online all the time (almost like a MMO with a monthly subscription), despite it's a single-player game. On top of that, the dev ain't very transparent about what you'll get for your money - that's a big difference from a MMO with subscription.

Am a bit confused, unlike Lust (that developer doesn't do "public free game"), After Class releases free builds, just has a bit of "bonus" contents that pay-walled?
Or they are planning to change that? I know a few initially "free" games stop publishing free builds mid-way of their development.

but for main story it's very sad if we have to login just for get nsfw scene
i just can't with these types of games anymore, vn probably the laziest attempt to milk money and worse it works. hope sooner people realize how shitty vn as a game is. i rather support and pay a paywalled porn game dev that put real gameplay than a filthy scrolling ao3 story with mediocre art like this one. all vn that has a paywall is stupid

You gotta came up with characters, how they look, their interactions between them and the world around them, cgs/sprites and all the problems that can comes with that stuff. And the most important thing, a story, something that ties everything together with a interesting enough plot so the people can get hook onto the story or attached to a certain character.
I can assure you it is NOT easy to do a VN from scratch and let alone continue the story you created (cuz normally you can only imagine, let say, the first 7 days of the whole month that usually these type of VN has).
So yeah, most of the time an initial paywall is well deserved in VN.

i agree with you on the NOT easy to create VN, but the thing is most of the them charges people but lack of goals?(roadmap?)
which when it takes a long time to finish the game it gives people the impression of money milking(which many many games do)
i understand if the creator has full time job or the dev team is very small then it takes a lot of time to finish , but its no excuse to charge people when they dont even know what to expect or the creator shows little promise
So that means that this game is patreon locked for play. Aww that sucks just finished public version. Game had so much potential

i would love to support he patreon too so they can put some more effort for the character design, place and more interesting detail, but sadly i'm poor not rich guy
i just want focus to main story rather special episode
i want to know what happen to Walther why he lose he memories and sex scene it's just bonus for me

i gotta say im completely agree with you , to me this game of all other "NSFW VN" has the best story( maybe not the best but certainly most interesting one)compared with others , i honestly dont care if theres sex scene at all, wolgensim did a great job tho
There will still be public builds a few updates behind the patreon version, and the only permanently patreon exclusive content so far is the special christmas episode. there are a couple lines of dialogue here or there pertaining to andrew that are reliant on having played the special episode, but i don't expect it to go beyond that. i'm not sure what y'all think is going on because the public version will still get updates as it has been. parker day 9 is currently patron only but it will be public after episode gil 1 (unless that's already out for public idk) and lars day 9.
Parker day 9 is patron only right now. Public is either episode Anders 1 or episode Gil 1. Public will get Lars day 9 before Parker day 9.
