After his Patreon was taken down he said he has lost all motivation to continue this game and that he likely won't be continuing it. Since then there has been no updates.
Has anyone told the author about subscribestar or anything? Someone should reach out to him and request him to make one, see how many people he can get back to backing him and see if that helps his motivation any.

I'm very certain that he was made aware recently after his Patreon was taken down. The bigger problem was that it killed his motivation to work on the game. It sucks but the game is dead not due to lack of monetization, but lack of desire.
