Okay, I was expecting comments like those when I decided to release Xmas special version.
Let's do some simple explaining. There are some key 'accusations' I like to point out.

1."Wasting time on special version and delaying the main game release!"
This is simple not true. This release has nothing to do with the main chapter release schedule.
If any one of you actually read my post on patreon and here, you would have known by know that I'm dealing with some personal situation right now which need my time and attention. That's why I can't really work on the main game right now. Each chapters needs way more time than 1 week to be finished, it needs time that I don't have. Well if i don't have time how this special version came out?
That's also very simple. Thanks to this holidays, I found some extra time which I used to work on this xmas special. extra time which I don't have normally. I could have worked on main version with those extra time, but that would have been little pointless. It's effect on the release time would have been close to zero. Why? Because now that holidays are over everything goes back to normal, and time I can spare for this game is still close to nothing.
Trust me I would love to have a chance to work on this project like it's a full time job, but I can't.

2."Milking"
Truth be told I never expected that someone would accuse me of that. I think some one you haven't really checked my patreon page since the...well forever. This project has been nothing but a financial burden for me since the day I started working on the game. It can
barely for it self. This game costed me over 5k euros in total. That includes the hardware needed for rendering, assets that you see in the game and ones you don't see but are there. I don't even talk about the electricity bills.
And guess how much money I 'MILKED' in past 3 years?

Eh, I think that was a nice teaser of the possibilities. It came in handy considering the family LIs are slowburns. I was especially curious 'cause Sophie is my choice in the game proper so far.

Firstly, I don't accuse EACH and every developer of anything unless its blatant and clear, like milking supporters or things to that affect. I also get your reasoning for the holiday special to some extent, it makes sense to show something to the fans and supporters that you could clobber together quickly rather than nothing, I get this, I think most here do.

There is a caveat here though and one I personally can't overlook and that is, that yes it make take you double, tripple or 10x longer to get one decent chapter out of the main game than the holiday you released, but honestly I would still opt for ANY time you have spare to spend on the main game and not get distracted regardless of your motivations being good.

EDIT: You can even create a poll here and ask people if they would rather have some content like holiday content or have you focus on the main story and see what most here say. I think most will lean toward a focused approach on main story content...

I would only ask that you be upfront and honest with fans and supporters and say something like "peeps, real life is happening and Im have a hard time keeping up production, I haven't forgotten and wont abandon the project. Anyone who wants to pause support until the next update are welcome" something to that affect says and shows me much more about the developer as a person, their character and integrity and I will forgive them much, but I must add, DO NOT ABUSE THAT TRUST.

Either-way, keep it up and thanks for the good game, I look forward to the next chapter.

Newest chapter has WAY worse grammar/spelling than what came before it. Almost every sentence has spelling errors.

I was going to say this. The grammar wasn't bad until about chapter IX. Once that chapter started, it was like any translating software or spell checker was turned off. I had to stop playing it was so bad. Up to that point, was enjoying the game.
