I played that game. Not actually that fun, being stupidly long in a grindy sense, but also having a limit on the number of battles needed to get the golden ending (which is also unintuitive to get), a combat system that is wears out its novelty quickly due to sheer number of battles and possible length of a single attack, and a number of other background mechanics such as shopping and an awful crafting system that basically force you into buying DLC.

I made sure all the DLC is included to help alleviate that :). I will admit it is pretty rough without certain DLC

Played this years ago.
Its not really that good of a game, its really grindy and got a huge difficulty spike in chapter 3.
If you want the true ending be prepared to follow a guide and grind your brain out even more.
Like with all Idea factory games the combat is just mediocre.
If you want a h tbs just play kamidori alchemy meister because that game got actually good combat.

Like its only upside is being one of the few JRPGs that tries to tackle a multi-generational story but it's not like it's the only game series that does that.
