Don't you know, the search function doesn't exist! They want the answer given to them on their comment! Searching on forum pages are useless!

I'm going to assume you're being ironic because the search function does exist at the top of every page of this forum. If they had searched, the answer to their question would have been the first result (instead of third, where it is now because they asked their question and I answered it).
Also, I didn't tell them to use the search function for their answer, I told them to look at the previous page. All they had to do was skim the last couple of pages to see if someone had already asked the same question and if it had been answered.
