Yes, financially, I am in the best situation I have ever been in my life and I am so incredibly thankful for that! And yes, I do have 5 employees right now =)
I really want to grow and expand and create more and more content, even explore a few different genres, so that is why I am hiring and trying to slowly grow. And, I don't know the financial impact piracy has on my earnings, but either way it is just kinda sad sometimes when you see your content on piracy sites knowing you put so much time, effort, heart, and yes money into creating something and people just steal it.
Again, I know it's just how the internet works, but I can't help but feel a little sting every single time it happens.
EDIT: As per pay, I pay my team BETTER than Disney does in all positions, offer fully remote work, work their own schedule, all the time off they want, etc... each employee makes a minimum of $24 USD per hour + revenue share bonuses on each and every release.
To be honest, the only reason I DONT have a bigger team is because it is very very very hard to find people that want to work in this field but I am looking every week!
