Edit: Updated the anti-anti-cheat for 0.19.0. I took the opportunity to clean the script up based on Zeanrith's much cleaner version of the script, which should make the script more forward compatible, and also compatible with Zeanrith's mods (highly suggest checking them out). Also, check out this post by NonRomanticSandboxFan for links to other useful posts on this thread.

Thank you for you script, but for me it didn't work. It just reseted the gold value to 0.

I updated it to not check about encrypted gold value anymore.

With an edited savegame it works fine and should flag it as legit after a gold change.

There should be no problem for future update, except if he add a check for gold value over 99 999 which seemed to be present in original script that I didn't read.

Note that gold is restricted to 2 147 483 647 as it is stored as a signed 8 bit integer and will switch to negative value over INT_MAX

ps : I don't understand why developper waste their time in developping such feature

ps 2 : Instead of blocking the wanabe cheater, show him a screen telling him that you know he is a cheater, that he may contribute on your various giveaway accounts and two buttons :
- I wana play legit (250-1000 gold) [gold is reset to a reasonable value]
- The big red button, do not touch, I promess to contribute (2 000 000 000 gold)

As Venipa stated, that's what you need to do, and sadly all the previous anti-anti-cheat won't work, as the developer really added some more fun into this one. Still in the process of fixing the lines as cleanly as I can, but here's the changes (will update this with the full list and file once I've finished following the logic of the last bit).

Update: This should get rid of all the anti-cheat (and fix a bug), as far as I can tell. Feel free to make the following changes to Agent17-0.18.5-pc\game\script\Setting\function.rpy yourself, or just place the anti-anti-cheat.rpy file in the /game folder.

To install, click the file, and when it opens in a new tab. right click and save as (should save as anti-anti-cheat.rpy). From there, just place the patch in the /game folder from where you click on the games .exe to launch it.

With this installed, you can now use the dev console to change variables (like g_gold = 10000 to give yourself $10,000) or use a save editor without triggering the anti-cheat.

Yeah god, at least this one isn't nearly as bad as some others I've seen. This was is easily workable and doesn't require an actual crack.

And I'm guessing from what I've seen that he rewards patreon tiers with cheats?? Maybe?? Just downloaded the game to be honest and wanted to enable dev console, only to go down this rabbithole.

the plot is good, the characters are drawn, but my hair is not very well drawn, and so you can see the game is well done, you can see that the developer is trying to make the game even better and put a piece of himself into his game and I really wish the developer success in the game and a lot of fans to him

If you have the knowledge it is easy, yes but for the normal user its just god damn annoying. At least you don't need a crack or some premium shit app like wemod for it.

I usually use the arrows to go to save pages beyond 20. My saves from previous version is inaccessable in the new save menu. Please re-add the arrows to switch pages.

Did I like the game? Yes.
Is is anoying enough that I'm trying to determine NTR: are, oi, or ase? Then have the Dev say NTR is avoidable when what he really means that you can skip the voyering. Even the MC's love interest is fucking for 1K a pop. Where the is actual NTR, there is no way in hell it's avoidable. Why? Because NTR doesn't care if you're watching it or not, just like Facts don't care about your feelings.
