Hey I understand that you want to have the faster updates and I agree that the way the dev is approaching things isn't making sense but we shouldn't steal anyones work who started from zero and reached this by their own innovation. So I suggest you should learn or work with the people who can make similar type of games with similar graphics type. That way we won't have to worry about it. And I also suggest that if you want to work on this wait until dev is not commiting it to complete or is abandoning the game. Till then don't.
