this time regarding Steam version
so the R18 DLC patch that was mentioned weeks ago? it got approved, first try, bruh like how... anyway the price will be 2980 yen to match the total cost along with DLsite, and the sales date will be at early October.
as was mentioned previously, this patch WILL NOT contain the defeat scene (non-consensual sex, rape, ntr, etc), and it will require people an extra patch on top of this DLC to unlock those stuffs, and the patch will be available in dev blog soon when the DLC released, furthermore dev make a ruling for this DLC:

• no mirroring for this patch
• no community discussion or screenshot about this patch in Steam community hub
• no community discussion or screenshot about DLsite variant in Steam community hub
• do not, under any circumstances, try to modify the patch or even the main game fucking lol
• do not make any form of piracy encouragement (dev link to a twitter reply on his post where a dude shit on Steam version due to it's inferiority and tell people to go to DLsite instead and find the pirated version, fucking retard)

little note from the dev, he surprised the DLC was approved on 1st review, but he also worried that it won't pleased the global audience, and if it did, then he will completely pull out from Steam, and further on he will limit his production, sales channels, language, and environment, to japan only. (once again, holding the audience hostage, see how it work out)
and he once again make a clear statement, that he will never cooperate with overseas publisher under any circumstances, nada, "Uncensored content is out of question. Riez-on is not crime syndicate"
on more ranting note, he say again that he work alone and he had take a full blown slander from the comment section in response to his terrible business decision, claiming if people would let him to make game the way he like, he will make something that surpass Ai-deal

As you might know, in japan porn has to be censored by law so uncensoring it is something the dev considers a crime even if done by companies outside of Japan that do not need to adhere to the censoring law. This is what I assume at least.
Just the usual japanese dev autism really.

for months people been telling dev to partner with overseas publisher (like Kagura Games or Otaku Plan) to get the game into global easily into Steam and even get it uncensored, it's a great move and every other dev did it and was well received.
but this dev reject the idea because uncensor stuff is illegal in japan, he even got contact by the oversea publisher (didn't state who) who willing to work with him to get his game into Steam, but he actively refuse it, he ask them is it even legal to do this and is there any clear law or statement that specifically make this completely safe and legal, but every single one of them said "well no one getting caught yet so there's that", or at least that's what dev describe it. Dev does not accept this level of explanation, it's not convincing.

yet people continue to push the dev to go work with one of oversea publisher, but he continue to reject the idea, citing it's illegal conduct, and encouraging him to do so, is endorsing criminal act, "Uncensored content is out of question. Riez-on is not crime syndicate". it's an extremely paranoid cycle of though this guy have, did he really think there will be police patroling every house to check if they have uncensored porn or something?

What's the point of the censor when you see the implications of a scene, first visually and then text? I don't understand much from your text , I must read it again but I am sure you explained well since I get the feeling the dev is not " normal"(not in the sense popular belief might think) but I get a bad feeling about the gameplay (scenes are irrelevant).
My original question is more about why would someone be afraid (because of laws right?) to uncensor something when in reality you can easily gauge what is about to happen or what is already happening. Which makes hiding parts useless unless it is a thematic concept(like how Gore is censored in Kane and lynch 2 because of its camera immersion.

don't forget this dude is extremely dependent on AI (probably ChatGPT) to decide something as simple as moderating community, or how he literally ask on business decision.
in one of his old blog post he mention that people hate and ranting about his decision when going global, and that he have AI to resolve that problem. At first i though it's just some moderator bot to filter people spamming or profanity, so on and on. But then he mentioned that he use AI to gauge the price of his product in Steam... moderator bot can't do that... average bot can't give you business advice... unless it's something like Gemini or GPT... which mean when he said AI, he's been referring to chat bot, this include that time he decide to ban a guy after consulting it to ChatGPT... for record he went "it seems some people don't like it when they got banned, but it's not my fault, i'm not the one who doing it, it's the AI, meh"
