Actually I don't understand what you mean. The game was never played online. As far as I know, The online function was only for sharing cards. (pls correct me if I'm wrong) The game itself is running as usual:

Don't see a google drive link in the OP but its possible that one part is damaged so redownload that corrupted part, maybe?
34 gigs, also giving up tbh tried a lot of things even to repair the files using winrar but nothing worked, maybe in 2 years when half of the torrent links are actually working.
I can only suggest, allways getting the download directly from STN, be it google, torrent or ...
if the file ends with .7zip its highly recommended to use
Don't know how much emotion you want or can have, but if they don't even move their mouth, then you probably have a face style. You can use most faces that are in maker, but only a few support animation (emotions, talking,...) Usualy you can check it, by changing the personality in maker and make them speak. Also the moutshapes shouldn't be applied to the not working ones.
can you also do that to the player? i cant find any configurations in the ingame character maker to customize their personality
You need the BepInEx translator tool for it and it use google translate which is usually bad. Open the translator config with a textedior of your choice:

When you safe the card 'as new' in maker she'll get resetted.
