This shit isn’t progressing, it’s become less appealing and more laggy. Have they really become so blinded by the success of AA2 that they feed us this shit and think we’ll keep buying it forever? Can’t they just copy AA2, add a lot of new content with updated graphics, keep updating the game, and release new DLCs with fresh mechanics? I'd rather spend my whole life in real life in my room than play this!

You're exactly right. They have the blueprint. What's stopping them from just recreating it like you said. COD and Apple does it every year! Don't fix what isn't broken.
could it be some weird obscure company policy that plays into this or training of a new team on old illusion things(this last one I'm skeptical of since they had two games to try this)?

It's strange because wasn't that other game supposed to be the spiritual successor to AA2? I tried it and it wasn't as good imo.

Just gonna say from interpretation of images, this looks like koikatsu with Ai shoujo. AA2 basically was illusion's one true success in the game genre.

game is also crashing for me. First time was after setting all characters, then it crashed when I tried to enter the school. it's the translator which is causing this? hope someone fix it =(

For people that are having stuttering, slow down or crashes; besides turning down quality, put number of accessories shown under the game settings tab, from 40 to 20. I figured the accessories constantly needing to load on the character models is what's causing the issues. Not a perfect fix but it also helped on my end.
I felt like a lot of the fun of AA was that you could watch the progression of the relationships between the NPC's develop as time goes on. Having only one main male character with a guaranteed positive relationship progression just makes it generic power fantasy sandbox #49.

runs totally fine on my desktop which is like 5 year old at this point so rather than the game being resource hungry there may be issues with some specific issue related to some hardware, drivers or conflict with something else running at the same time

i have a 7800x3d 32gb 6000mhz and 4070s e this game sucks 100% of my pc, no mercy.
No game uses 100% of my GPU, this one does, and I've never seen it reach 70 degrees.
and i have 16gb ram, gtx 970 and i don't even know the CPU anymore, like i said it's not an issue that is strictly tied to the output of the hardware. If some configs encounter this kind of issue then there is something else at play.
