This is a very asinine complaint but goddamnit, it's really annoying that it's chinese. No, not because there's something wrong with mandarin or cantonese but because as a staunch weeb-lord it makes my weeb-tier JP completely useless rather than mostly useless. Fk. Out of all the languages in asia, chinese is the one I know the least; Some JP, just a little bit bahasa indonesia, very minimal korean and absolutely ZERO CHINESE.

In retrospect, about 20 years ago I thought "I should study mandarin. Socialist China is poised to become the next world superpower so I'd better get studying"..... 20 years later and I haven't studied a damn thing. God I'm an idiot.

Mandarin is really a colorful language. I learned a lot of new phrases during my time translating AKT's works and other Chinese smut fics on Pixiv.

I'll never see the phrase "Supermarket me" the same way ever again.
