In conclusion, stop bitching about people asking for their hero and forcing them to donate. They will do when they think it is worth it and enjoy the game.

I'm not really sure about that part. Surely some people can't afford that, but surely many others just want to play this game for free. I won't bitch about people asking for the game, as i won't bitch about patreons trying to save some devs they love. If they can make 10k a months it would not be a problem sharing the game, but since they struggle to go on i can clearly understand why none is sharing it. None want to force people to donate, people just want to see milestone reached to get new content in the game they love.

Keep in mind once it get posted here within 24h it gets spread everywhere. Because it wasn't instantly leaked this time studio easily gained 200$, and that number can be much higher if the fluctuations on patreon are caused by people doing sub-in sub-out to just get the patch (or it's just patreon being dumb). The studio head already working nonprofit on the game that money is difference whatever he got few bucks left after paying his people or having to add his own money.

I think it would be great if we could keep the version here one patch behind the one on patreon, therefore anyone finding the game somewhere and then going to patreon got incentive to sub. And if you are a fan of the studio/ game but can't sub due to your financial condition, consider patiently waiting (aka no nagging for hero) that 1-2 months for the patch to also be a way of supporting the devs.

I honestly think the reason the game doesn't have more support, it's because NTR is really niche in non japanese territory, also it's probable that when the beast/shota update drops a lot of people are going to be curious about the game, but if you delay the updates here people won't notice, piracy it's a touchy subject but you can't deny that +18 games need it to survive since it's pretty much impossible to promote your game otherwise, not to mention that when the second game drops, even more people will be interested since NTR won't be the main focus, in conclusion I don't think having the game here hurts, people who wasn't willing to pay for the game won't pay with or without the game here, and the site works as publicity for people looking for great games to support so if you leave the game without updates people lose interest, anyway it's just my opinion hope we can clarify this one finally, since this subject has been brought out like a hundred times already haha, hope that everyone have a great new year, and yeah, still waiting for the hero haha

Me, me, me. This is what this post sounds like.

Your premise of "this is a pirate forum" is tunnel visioned and absolutely wrong, every time you click a link you get a warning "if you enjoy the game, consider supporting the developer" which means that the forum owners themselves want to incentive people to actually pay devs for their hard work.

Where you see a "pirate forum" I see a place where you can try games and make an educated decision if you want to support a dev or not. You can see the quality of the game, patch sizes, how often the devs releases material, etc.

Having fans making a push for a game is not "wrong", just like you advise people to leave I advise you to ignore them if it's annoying you in any way.

First of all there is fat difference taking things as they are and expecting supporters to leak the game because "it is pirate forum".

Second what do you know about how i use the forum? DO you see a metacritic site for porn games anywhere ? Even for games that are on steam the reviews are "lacking" to say the least as people are avoiding to discuss the "meat" .
So where do you go to find new games that fit your kink that is not a pirate site? I won't even go into how most of the games are trash and misleading so being able to play before you pay is big.
So no, i'm not hypocritical .

Third why are you bothered by my post? I was not complaining but observing how we can help the devs get through. It was aimed at patreons and want to be patreons rather then just pirates sailing through.

But for those who are already a supporter isn't there already a discord/community for the game? It is rude (I don't know the word to use) for you guys to stay in a thread in a pirate forum and tell someone to pay 10$ when they ask if anyone is going to update a new version. The reasons you guys stated about trying out the game, you have already done that and you liked it and have now supported it. Can't you discuss about the game there in your community if you are offended about people asking for free update in a pirate forum? I mean I don't see any reason for you to be here in this thread.

I personally believe in buying a game once and I am done with it and keep getting support as long as the game is updated. I will never pay above 20$ for a porn game and if it comes to steam at that price point I will gladly support it as I think the devs did a great job with the art and sex scenes (I just go to recollection room lol). I personally never even tried the story. It is a porn game I already know what to expect.

I don't like the idea of patreon where you pay every month or for months with updates and in the end you easily end up spending over hundreds of dollars before the game is completed. I can buy a AAA game for 60$ but spending 10$ every month for games on patreon that will take 2-4 years is too much for me.

I don't mind people who do spend it as without them the games won't even be made but I have seen many games (not this one) that extend and milk their patreons. Instead of finishing the game they keep adding unnecessary plotlines, characters, etc. to keep the game going if it is popular. I know it is their money and they can do what they want with it. Hell they may even be very rich and it does not matter to them but in my mind I can't help but think they are being taken advantage of.

Keep in mind none of the patreons here told anybody to leave the forum. The only post similar to what you pretend to see, it's a guy asking to support cause he wants to see the route they will do if they reach the 5k$ milestone. I'm here cause i was here before i started to support this project and cause i like to help people stuck with the game, or discuss their ideas/theories about it. I agree. I don't like patreon style of support either, but some projects can only go on with this kind of founds. I find patreon more of "i'm giving money for a project" more than "i'm paying for a game". It's more about helping people realizing their game/passions than buying something, otherwise you'll be almost always overpaying it. I started to play the game here, than i decided to pledge and help them, and that's strange coming from me cause i second your way of thinking about patreon. In the end i started to appreciate the people behind the project, and now pladging is more of paying them a couple of beers every month. I'll do it for a irl friend, i can do it for a e-friend. I see them working hard for it, delivering quality content way faster than other developers, even if they are a really small studio.

None is forcing you to donate, you do what you want with your money. Many people can't even afford 10$ these days, cause they lost their job or dollars conversion is too high for their paychecks.

Nothing new there, he already publicly admitted through their website, Twitter, Discord, etc. that's exactly the reason why he doesn't go on public boards, the negativity and toxicity.
