Anyone here will stop following Heaven Studios once they move away from NTR to their second game? We can do a test with a small sample size right now.
In fact, is anyone here not curious about their new project with Scarlet Ann even though it doesn't have NTR?
I've had a lot of Patreon memberships over the years in the context of adult games and I ultimately canceled the vast majority because of developers who either show zero respect for their audience or developers who show little sign that they're putting forward any sort of consistent effort.
Currently, my only memberships are with Heaven Studios, Anduo Games, and AdventAnyx (and Remtairy on SubscribeStar) because they put out content I greatly enjoy, communicate consistently, are openly passionate about their work, and visibly put my money to good use month after month. Heaven Studios in particular... I've had an active membership for over 2 years and even during a brief period where I cancelled ALL of my other Patreon memberships due to IRL things, I kept my Heaven Studios sub going. Few reasons -
1. I don't directly participate much on their Discord but I lurk a fair amount and they seem to be the most humble and upfront devs I've ever come across in this scene. Starke just seems like a genuinely honest and dedicated guy who wants to make the game he loves, give his fans what they want, and foster an actual community. He messaged me out of the blue one day to get some additional info after I reported some random bug - so yeah, he does seem to care about what people are saying and actually interacts with his community. I respect that. Same goes to the rest of his team.
2. The game has all the kinks I want. Not gonna lie, I'm a big fan of NTR and sharing, and this game has a ton of that spread across most of its routes. They don't seem to be stopping either... they just keep adding more and more of that stuff all over the place, which is perfectly fine with me.
3. I love the art. Not much else to say here. Ayame is hot as fuck and so are pretty much all of the scenes. It's high quality stuff and it's not easy to find this style of art in this style of game that's uncensored. The fact that they've been going back and re-working older scenes to get them up to the level of their new style is also a big plus - I can't think of many other devs who care enough to do something like that.
4. They actually keep to their schedules and do what they say they're gonna do. You'd think this would be common among developers, but it's pretty fuckin rare these days.

All of that said, I'm not sure if I'd keep my Patreon membership if they moved to a completely different style of game. As much as I respect the studio, I typically only subscribe to devs who are creating content I'm actually interested in. If they finish this game and start on something that has zero appeal for me, there's a decent chance I'd cancel my sub.
I don't know much about Scarlett Ann specifically but I glanced at some of her work and it seems pretty good to me, so it'll probably be fine.
