I knew I recognized that from somewhere!

I checked both under a 50% opacity on Photoshop and at least it's not line tracing.

The similarity is obvious tho. Clearly it was influenced by this TA scene. The costumes and position is where the similarities end tho. The lining seems to be all different. I'm glad it is so. Muku is a great artist but although I can't color worth shit, even I could line trace.

They've been tracing art for a while now, I'm not too bothered about it, Ayame is pretty hot.
Can you show examples? Now I'm curious. Might even find some other good games :p

Maybe I'm just paranoid. I've played way more games than I'm proud to admit and I swear I've seen the exact same drawing thousands of times.

I don't remember the game, but one of the scenes where Ayame is riding Melvin in a nightie was traced.
I found it similar with this one:

But i won't download a 1 GB game again just to check one pic. :coldsweat:
Here's the sauce btw:

YYou don't need to, just check the CG :
I know that. I took that pic from the link you mentioned.
I was talking about the pic @TheMagister said it was traced, of Ayame riding Melvin. I'm too lazy to download the game or look through the multiple pages of the Fleeting Iris CG set on sadpanda, so i leave to those who care enough about it to do the job. :p

That one looks similar but it wasn't that one, it was almost like a 1:1 copy. I actually think it was another Black Lilith game or someone with a similar art style.

Again, not much of a problem for the end user (bar if you, of course, support their Patreon) but it can be a problem for them.

You don't use other people's art in the hope "they will never find out, it's just a porn game". Some Japs are notoriously aggressive in such matters, and it would not be the first time that someone got shut down.

It's a dangerous game, and considering they do have a good output even without """tracing""" it's not worth the risk.

I think in those cases it's still a reach. Maybe the hand in her hair one but I dunno, starting to feel like a witch hunt.

That's like watching a porno where a girl asks for a pizza and she gets the D and instantly suing everyone that comes with the same "idea". Like someone said it's hard to come out with something completely new that has never been done before. I can probably get any hentai game with 30 or 40 scenes and find a different game where the scenes look extremely similar if not exactly the same.

Tracing would be a slap in the face because it would be someone else's art with a few different nuances but I don't think it's the case here. In a game coming now close to 120 hentai scenes or what not? There's obviously going to be a few that look like something done before. Game is still amazing. Muku and the other guy are still amazing artists. That's all that matters to me.
