RPGM - Ren'Py - Completed - Alansya Chronicles: Fleeting Iris [v1.0.5 Renpy] [Heaven Studios]

Instead of making a corruption games that progress organically its a game that locks you out of other things if you don't do it like you can't get a swim suit for not starting a route what so many years invested in this yet it feels so empty some scene are so random idk man this game is not really good

Sometimes the art is pretty good sometimes its decent sometimes its like what happened he was in a rush or something and the sex scene are idk its like something is missing ...

Not a bad cheating/NTR game. There is Purity road and other route have a really good story that is very satisfying. The engine being used for this RPGM is quiet old that there is lot of of need QOL upgrade to this game such us upgrading to latest new RPGM but it would be lot of work and the resolution is quiet old but luckily you can use Magpie or Lossless Scaling. I definitely recommend Lossless scaling to scale the game and the image resolution won't tear using f5. Magpie is free but Lossless scaling is really cheap and more option.

The game lock you some of the route which is really sucks if only when you lock out but still be able to enjoy free roam that would be nice as you don't need to stare at the story playing till the end maybe change it so we player can move around and stick to the lock route and unable to do other route would be nice. If you get an item like dildo before getting that quest, the quest sign will show it till the end of the game and you can't sell that dildo and buy it back. definitely a bug. good thing is the game will tell you that before making decision that will lock you in some route. Map is big but kinda fell empty, Free Roam should have lots of variety freedom to do anything rather than in the route. Maybe let Iris go wild once reaching lower threshold of morality and do free roam like say go flirt or do naughty thing to random NPC.

The H-scene is really good the artist really know how to drawn thicc women if only the scene is animated from what I read they plan to do it but it gonna be long wait. This is my preference but I don't really like family involving old hair men maybe just do with the young and sharing with the lovers would be nice but well the story is already done.

Honestly it took me 3rd try to enjoy this game. It sucks that you can't skip like text dialogue only speed up and when in scene mode sometimes NPC move around but it really is too slow it because of old engine RPGM. Would recommend this game but when they upgrade it.

But don't take my word for it. If you're gonna play this game make sure you get version 1.15F and you use a program called Magpie to work around the 640x480 resolution limitation.

Sorry for the caps , you should play the game if you want a great fem protag with various endings and good corruption elements.

Map is massive but completely empty.
Art is good sometimes.
Routes are weird, locked into one route at a time. My character was raped and blackmail pretty much straight away in one route. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't get the hype.
Its a game that needs a guide not one that you could explore and find the scenes organically.

I really don't understand the hype around this game, it's just a average game nothing more nothing less.

I mean... it have "good enough" art and sex scenes, lot of content and it's not the worst grindfest ever (but still), but does it deserve to be ranked so high in the female protagonist games list, sorry but no.


Lets start by the route system, it's bad... you start with 2 simultaneous routes from which you can either stay and choose one later, or enter a different route, those routes also leading to other routes.... ( see the walkthough to see how much of a mess this is )

Since when you enter a route you are locked in this route, you have to finish it and load a save from generally faaaar away to try a other route, so first thing, manage your save properly, keep a note on which save is which.
Oh, and a system locking you in a route and having to replay literally half the game each time you want to go to a new route ?... in a RPG maker game ? serious-fucking-ly ???? come on....
So thanks dev, the game have a skip text option when holding Ctrl ! so it went from a heresy to being just a bit annoying.
BUT ! all the traveling, the exploration and the animations... this you can't skip it ! and here is the worst grind in this game...

A really weird thing is that this game have disabled the option to hold the action key to fast forward animation and text, in every RPGM game, when you hold the action key, the text go a bit faster and the scripted animations of the characters walking are also speed up, but here no.. and it's SLOW !! having to see the characters enter a room and walk to something at this speed while you can do absolutely nothing... so frustrating


Now for the amount of content, this game have """a lot""" of content, but it's kinda a trap, because it have is stretched in so many different routes that each routes don't have that much content in the end
To really have all the content you need to replay the game at least 10 times, sometimes from a save dating from 1 or 2 hours ago, but sometimes from the first route branching 5 hours ago ! going through the same traveling and "waiting for the animation to play" grind each time.
Adding to that that the maps are huge, extremely confusing about where you enter and exit AND that the map in the game folder is wrong... good luck.
The dev tried to make it easier, having a car that allow you to fast travel and having it unlocked for ever once you unlocked it in one of the route without having to redo the fucking grind of the driver license quest ( it was horrible ! ), and allowing us the change our character speed to go really fast, but still... the grind is still too much and sometimes you have to wait a long time before getting a scene, which bring me to my last point....


The sex scenes are.... boring.. sorry but I almost didn't get it hard in all the 5 routes I've done, the art is good enough but the poses are classic, the theme, the fetishes, the sex situations.. those are boring as fuck.
Ultra vanilla, no risk taken, nothing that I haven't already seen in a hundred other games.
Dialogues are ultra basic, sound are inexistant, no moaning no sex noise, only a spurt when the guy cum, the really old sound you've already heard in every old rpgm games
The part where I got the most excited was the Halloween DLC, but even that didn't took any risk and stayed fucking too vanilla...



So to conclude : I don't know..

Maybe it's just me, maybe after 5 years here I'm getting bored and so exigeant that something that I would have found amazing back in the days is now just boring, maybe after playing so many games I'm starting to really pinpoint all the bad things, far more than before and maybe I'm waiting for a lot more from my games now than being just "meh..."

Or maybe this game is just average, vanilla and with a bit too much grind and that the only reason it have so much like is because it have been here for so long ( literally, it's one of the first games being uploaded here back in 2016 )

Anyway, I'm sure lot of peoples enjoyed it, but me.. it was neither good or bad, just extremely average
( Would have been soooo much better on Renpy though, the way the game is built with this route system... this is perfect for a sandbox Renpy game )

i would give this game 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't so mind numbingly slow, wake up everyday, go to job, advance scenes, save, get the "bad ending" for that route, load, change jobs ect. I didn't even get to the supposed free roam stuff cause of how slow it all moves, in porn games you got your story guys who love to read and your action guys that want to find scenes. this is a story guy game.

The game strikes a fine balance between sensual encounters and a well-crafted plot. The milf-focused story is handled with pizazz and subtle sultry giving players an opportunity to connect with the characters .
The game is fun, exciting and lastly but most importantly erotic.
I definitely recommend people to give this game a try if the tags with the game is not a major Turn Off. It has way too many alley of sexual misconduct for you not to like one and explore further.

So, let me start by saying I generally do not like RPG maker games. I really dislike having to roam around a massive map to trigger events. This artificially adds to playtime and it's not so different from commuting to work. Fleeting Iris has this problem too. You spend a lot of time traveling from point A to B, and even with a fast travel system, the fast travel gateways are far from places you might want to go. I wish this game had a feature where you could fast travel straight out of home to wherever you need to go for the next route or event. There's a setting you can change to make the character move faster but it still has this problem and it reminds me why i dislike rpgmaker games.

Given my disdain for rpgmaker games, I believe my endorsement of Fleeting Iris should stand out even more imo. Fleeting Iris is absolutely fantastic. There's so much content it's kind of insane. Routes have different outcomes and a ton of content for every event. The art is absolutely fantastic. I'm usually immediately turned off by character models that are too thicc; I prefer smaller breasts and slim figures. I'm not a huge fan of giant asses or huge melons. However, despite that, I found Ayame, the protagonist with a fat ass and giant boobs, very attractive and it's because of the art. The art is exceptional. The character's faces are beautiful and very expressive.

Corruption is handled extremely well in this game. It's a very slow corruption and that makes it so much better. Corruption is best when it's happening in degrees as we see the character slowly change from innocent into someone more sexually driven. Fleeting Iris handles this so, so, so well.

I'm not a lover or a hater of NTR but again Fleeting Iris handles NTR exceptionally well. The husband, Robert, isn't a flat character. He's not some totally useless asshole who we hate and he's not the perfect partner either. He's flawed but very likable.

So, as someone who usually hates rpgmaker games and has no time for them, take it from me. Fleeting Iris is definitely worth your time.

This is one of my fav NTR game of all time. At first I was a bit disapointed there's not much gameplay element ( in my opinion the map and world is perfect for it ) but the contents is really humongous. There's so many different storylines and best part it keep on growing. End up I ditch the standard RPG gameplay element mindset and take it as some sort of lite RPG VN with many different episodes and scenes....Ayame certified NTR slut icon no idea who is Alansya, highly recomended A+++ 100/10

This game is overrated for its size. Few points that i don't like about this game:

1. Map too big but barely has any contents. The reason why this happens because the game will lock you from accessing other contents when you get locked in one story route.

2. It's pretty easy to get locked in one story route so you need to have a lot of save files. This alone cure my addiction towards porn game. Thanks Alansya chronicles

3. The art aren't consistent in every story routes. This kill the urge to satisfy my lust for 2D images

4. In most story route, female MC got easily corrupted in one or two scenes, there is no corruption progression at all. Also in some story route like in Clarke story route, the story end pretty fast, it's like they trying to rush the story. Still wondering why this game has such a huge size

5. Did i mentioned about how huge the map in this game? Most of the time you gonna waste your time by walking. Might as well skip the walking part and unlock the gallery to view all the lewd contents, too bad because of the art inconsistency you probably not gonna enjoy it

Overall i don't recommend playing this game. The way that this game lock you from accessing other contents after you accidentally getting locked in story route is definitely the biggest downside of this game. Not worth it for its size

Finally played this. I avoided it for a long time because I only wanted to play it when it's finished but it kinda turns out that it is? Not sure why the DLCs are considered as part of the main game process when it's not the same for Karryn's Prison but whatever.

Clearly plenty of work and resources have been put into the game. I'll highlight why this is good and bad first.

The good part about this is the amount of routes, CGs and scenes that are present in the game. As an overall package, it has multiple times the content of any above average RPGM game ever made. Whatever you think about the quality of it, quantity is a quality of its own.

The writing can be great at certain points as well. Very classic NTR but I'm not really looking for more in an NTR game. On the flipside it can be inconsistent across routes. I think the game tries to justify it with "this Ayame is not the same as the Ayame on the other route" but it feels flimsy...the base person is the same so the falling process should have some similarities.

The art looks great. Wish it was animated but I think this game started production before animation in RPGM games became a premium norm...so it's fine.

Now the main reason I'm not giving it a 5 star...

My issue with the routes is that there's either too many of them or the routes are too short. There's a lot of work you need to put in to following walkthroughs to criss cross into different routes only for them to end within a couple of scenes. It feels like the writer got bored and decided to end it. Which brings us to the other issue...

The gameplay is utterly pointless. You have to constantly walk across gigantic maps and it's not helped that the fast travel is gated...and inconvenient to use as well. Why there isn't just a key item teleporter I'll never understand. The frustration with the boring gameplay only gets worse when you add in my point about the routes. It's just way too much work for a porn game. My enjoyment significantly spiked when I said fuck it and just when through the gallery.

Would I recommend the game? Yes actually. Despite my problems with it, I still think that it's great. My only advice is to jump into the gallery once you get frustrated with the game and have a certain amount of understanding for the main feel of the game.

For Alansya Chronicles to be excellent, there is only one thing missing, and that is getting rid or reworking the entirety of the starting game plot. It's a long, linear drag - made all the worse by the fact your decision to start the game as virgin or not is made at the very start and there are MULTIPLE days to play through before you can route-change.

Other than that, perhaps the one complaint that can be made is that the art can be a bit... different in quality at times? Even the preview images in the thread's opening post seems to be from a starter version of the game; the very first scene (loss of virginity to Robert, the very very first scene in the game) also has an entirely different art style than what you'll see through the remainder of the intro/common route. The writing in some endings also feel conflicting with different endings of the same route, such as the family full ending or just the ending of one / few characters.

The game is however generally well-written, has generally good art, the mechanics are... decent, though some are underused if we're being polite or entirely scrappable if we're not; there's still some routes that I feel should exist or the game alludes should come soon but don't even have a stub, which feels conflicting with the game version in my mind.

All in all this is a good game once you get past the common route / intro but it is a bit of a drag until you get to the actual free roam and corruption-style freedom that you'd usually expect from a game like this, so I'm lowering its score a bit.

well deserved ratings. very good writing, rich story, interesting scenarios. NTR/molestation theme. very nice, i had my doubts but so far it's one of the best of that kind, But I am only in the beginning part.

edit: finished it, it has a LOT of content, they really maxed the NTR possibilities, the heroine protects her "innocent" persona for a really really long time, she is just a bit naive and too kind so that's where the NTR part comes from most the time, it has by the end the total "slut" route but that's the minority. which is good because after the heroine becomes a complete slut then the story usually gets boring/repetitive.

i think it has a shitton of VERY good materials/routes, everyone will find multiple things he will love. you can check all scenes too through the clock. there are like 200+ CGs

If I had to play only one hentai game my entire life this would be it, maybe because it's as big as 10 hentai games by itself. I love absolutely everything about this game: gameplay, dialogue, music, art and most importantly the main character and the game keeps getting better and better every patch. You can tell how much the team improved over the course of the game's development.

This game is 7 or 8 years old so the start of the game can be a bit rough in terms of dialogue and the art, but if you power through it which shouldn't take long then you will be able to appreciate what is to me the greatest hentai game ever made.

If you like fast paced games however this game is not for you, it has the most hentai if you stick to it through all the story but it has a lot of story! If you like turbosluts and instant porn, go to pornhub, this game is not for you. The corruption is slow and methodical.

Make sure you play the Patreon version though, Steam version is outdated trash. Kagura Games is too lazy to update it. Can't wait for the Shota patch and future games from heaven studios.

I think the main problem of this game is a strange way of progression. Every route ends with a gameover and is basically similar, which is a married mc gets blackmailed or forced into sex, the guy is better in sex / stamina / size than her husband, she falls in love / gameover

This means that you will not be able to slowly corrupt mc and play the game, you instead get a gameover in the end of every of i think 15+ routes and get a new pure mc again if you want to see another route

Most of the sex scenes are vanilla and extremely repetetive and boring, they do not have animation and sometimes art is inconsistent with a different looking mc in different scenes

The map is huge but absolutely dead. If you want to get a single free roam scene you have to trigger "fallen state" before, but you will not trigger it without locking routes if you did not check the walkthrough

I think this game is the only one i played on this site with such an abysmal way of playing and progressing, you actually need like 20+ separate saves to see all the content

Among the positives:

1. A great amount of scenes and well designed for an indie title.
2. Free Roam is really good both situations and scenes
3. Many good and interesting routes such as the office, kinky, av (the only flaw too short) and the one in which ayame runs the bar that once belonged to melvin

Negatives:

1. Lack of gameplay to be an rpg title (basically you have to talk to the main characters to progress and that's it)
2. Some routes are pretty linear in the sense that you'll get stuck in it and can't get out
3. Some of them are quite mediocre, for example the one of Clarke, while others are quite slow to get going, for example the one of Sato and Melvin, and only in the final they become interesting.
4. Almost no animations (apart from some more recent ones regarding the free roam) for the scenes
5. Little interest in replaying it after completing it the first time

Ultimately if the gameplay had been more sophisticated and less linear or had been developed in renpy, and some routes a little better and all the scenes animated I would have definitely put the highest ratings

Quite impressed with this game, there's such good pacing & story here, and the amount of content in this game is impressive.

The art is good too, only thing missing is animation, but the art is sufficient enough.

No annoying grinding so far, just lots of story and character development.

Just a great game overall. So much content and love from the devs. What I love about this game is that it strikes the perfect balance between story and gameplay vs. sex scenes. It doesn't feel like the sex scenes are thrown at you but it also doesn't feel like I need to grind an eternity to get the next one.

I'm always a bit shocked that the ratings here are not better but I can understand why: the game was about 6 years in development and most of the negative reviews are old and don't reflect on the current game.

The screenshots shown here in this thread are also old and outdated. New CGIs are amazing and I think they would attract a much bigger audience than the old ones.
