Make sure to check your item descriptions! Reagents may not be listed with the same name as something referenced in a journal entry, but I've tried to make the clues fairly clear. Thurman Redleaf can only really fit one particular reagent, for example.

No. Later recipes have bestiality involved in gathering their ingredients.

It would be nice to have a completion counter in the Memories section cause I got to a point in the game where I cant seem to get to any new content but am not sure if I actually finished everything. (have 13 scenes unlocked)

Forest Herb + Cave Mushroom / Water * Quartz = Stamina Potion
Vine Pollen + Cave Mushroom / Vine Sap * Quartz = Allure Potion
Slime Jelly + Forest Herb / Vine Sap * Quartz = Elasticity Potion
Forest Herb + Trueschist Marble / Water * Quartz = Healing Potion
Greenthorn Bark + Slime Jelly / Rockbiter Goo * Amethyst = Estradi (Feminization) Potion
Greenthorn Bark + Vine Pollen / Rockbiter Goo * Amethyst = Shrinking Elixir
Salamander Scale + Slime Jelly / Water * Amethyst = Fire Resistance Potion

13 is indeed the current total amount of scenes. I'll add some kind of counter in the next version, that's a good idea!

My game seems to be bugged and the rockbitter reasearch is finishing on loop. I assume I need to progress through that research to learn about the animals in the forest. Also, not getting the third scene with the vines after the jessica scene. I guess some checks went wrong?

the rockbiter was a bug. Make sure you get the up to date version or follow the devs instructions in a prior post to patch your file

The process for getting an amethyst is:
1 - Research Rockbiters (I might have to change this to be more broad as the greenthorn recipe also needs an amethyst but that's neither here nor there)
2 - Ask Jessica about acquiring an amethyst
3 - Wait 3 in-game days
4 - Jessica will tell you after those days that she has one and you can then buy it

If your old save doesn't have one, you have got the Rockbiter research and you can't ask Jessica about it, it's possible you saved during the waiting period. It's either that or some flags have been broken somehow, which can be fixed with some console commands if needed.

Kinda wish the UI was better. Meaning more information is displayed without having to flip back and forth between menus. There's a lot of empty space on the screen. Why not use it?

Hm, a fair point. I'll do some experimenting

How do people feel about something like this? I think I'd make the sidebars toggleable as well, but I think this is a decent way of giving you access to pertinent information without clicking through the menus.
