There certainly are! The ingredients for that particular potion are planned to come not from the next area but the one after that.

Version 0.8 - Enter the Deep Forest

Here we are again! A new location means new materials, means new potions, means new scenes. Enjoy!

• The deep forest is now accessible via another guild contract
• One scene with the new critter found in the deep forest
• As such journal entries associated with the deep forest have been updated. Remember you can always check these entries at any time once you've researched them so make sure to have another look now!
• With access to the new resources in the deep forest there are now three new potions that are craftable! One is useful for a new potion request at the guild, two have scenes assocatiated with them
• Two scenes added with Mina's friends. One with Beth, and now Alo'Eth finally gets to have a turn! I don't know if this is the direction people thought Alo'Eth was going to go, so I hope it doesn't disappoint
• Reagents now have associated images
• Few more shortcuts added to reduce needless clicking
• There are now little notifications that show up next to locations if there's something going on there that you haven't seen yet. ⬤ indicates something that will progress the game. ❤︎ indicates a scene, or progress towards a scene.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I grind and grind away and I cannot get anything else but buying bottles and exploring the caves and forest. I have grinded my skills over 50 and still nothing. Just keeps telling me she need an allure potion for the slime. I have spent weeks in-game going to the library after raising my alchemy skill up to 50. Nothing changes. I have sold over 100 stamina potions as well using them to grind my skills. Nothing. I am not using any cheating method and still nothing.

You should have everything you need to make an Allure Potion! The hint for its recipe is in the Vayra Sap journal entry.

Hm, perhaps I should expand the new notification system to highlight journal entries when you haven't discovered the associated recipe. Something to consider I guess.

Never seen any sap and I can only gather pollen from the flower in the forest. I kept thinking I needed higher botany and I am at 75 now and still nothing. I have only 2 journal entries as well.
Added: It is just RNG for the library to just find the Journal entry for the sap? As I said have been to library over and over again at every 5 levels of alchemy or botany and nothing. No sooner than I posted this did I finally get the entry. Seems I had to rest, then go to Village> Library> Search Library. It will not fire if use a stamina potion and go to library without having rested. You cannot go back or from the other locations. Very strange for it to be like that.

When you go to the library and click on the Search link do you get this screen?



If not you're on an old version, where it was a lot less clear when you'd done all the research available.

EDIT: Alright yeah you're playing an older version. You can download the newest version on itch as I can't edit the OP. I've made some changes to how many clicks it takes to move around and removed the RNG from research since the version you're playing!

Yes, I had 6.1 downloaded. It was still very frustrating just having to grind and getting nowhere. 7.0 is MUCH BETTER! Thank you.

You should be able to ask Jessica about finding one. Then just progress through a few in-game days and she'll have one available for sale.

Good job so far, looks like i reach the end of content for now or is there any way to create a fire resist potion ? Also there is bug in library first wing progresion in magical creatures (made it like 10 times and its still there and no new stuff)

There is a way to make the fire resistance potion yeah. But this bug might be preventing you from getting there. Would you be able to send me a screenshot of the first wing research screen? This isn't a bug I've encountered in my testing so I'll need something to try and track it down

Well, everytime when i complete research there is Estradi potion only and then progress is reseted. Tested it more then 20+ and then stopped counting

Ah yep I think I've tracked down the problem. I can't edit the OP but I've uploaded a fix you can download

• Fixed a bug that would prevent access to the Salamander research in certain conditions

Just a few small changes. I've finally got around to figuring out the more effecient way of uploading to itch so small updates might become more common going forward.

• Organized the Memories screen to make it a little more readable
• Added some extra dialogue to night interactions with Mina's friends to make it clear if there are no pending scenes

Make sure to check your item descriptions! Reagents may not be listed with the same name as something referenced in a journal entry, but I've tried to make the clues fairly clear. Thurman Redleaf can only really fit one particular reagent, for example.
