Thx.
They don't like some words like 'molest'.
Most of the work though was to just write a super long disclaimer for the store that includes every nsfw interaction in the whole game. They kept coming back every week with new stuff I had to add before I could release the game![]()
This was good enough for Steam to get a pass? lol okay.Mature Content Description on Steam said:This could appear non-consensual out of context, but everyone involved are willing participants.
Anyway i just tried this game for the first time--the 1.17 demo from itch and the UX is very unintuitive. No button should need a tooltip to show the user what the button does. Just add text labels and get rid of the tooltips for them. At the very least use better icons that aren't ambiguous. The only thing that should ever need to be explained is gameplay, not what UI elements do. Same with the inventory screen, users shouldn't need to click the "?" button to understand what things do. It's also a bit confusing that the "exit menus" button is in different places depending on what screen you're on.
I also need some sort of indicator to let me know that brewing the potion succeeded. Maybe it never fails? But it's jarring to see the ingredients disappear and not knowing that i got a potion in return.
The lose all items on defeat is absolutely brutal. I have no idea what i'll be fighting next so i can't make any informed decision about if i should risk it or not. Either show a preview of the next fight or just keep all items even if we lose. In combat, i think there should always be one enemy selected by default without the player picking one. This is how it works in RPG Maker too as a convenience to the player. Also please keep the HP and willpower numbers visible at all times for everyone; there's no reason to hide labels and numbers. Not being able to beat the first goblin without any potion is also very brutal. It's still not obvious when it's my turn. Turn based games usually highlight who's turn it is. You have some "sparkle" animation thing that's really easy to miss. Just highlight the portrait or the enemy outline like most games do.
There's a bug in combat that shows 110 silver shield? 110 blue shield? at the start of a fight. Again, wish i knew what those icons meant but the values are actually 10 silver shield 10 blue shield. It fixes itself after getting hit--at least until the next fight starts and it shows 110 - 110 again. There's another bug that the screen size resets every time i open the game, forgetting my previously selected size.
Plus i'm sure i'm not alone in refusing to buy any adult content on Steam. I know you can hide games these days but i still don't trust it and i don't trust that it won't bug out one day exposing everyone's dirty secrets on accident.Unavailable in your region
Making the game available for purchase on itch.io would help a lot, congratulations on getting it listed on Steam though! You're making some cool stuff, keep at it.
Works perfectly fine on Linux. It's just Unity and Unity almost always just works without any tinkering.Heads up for my Linux users, you might struggle to get this to load up properly (I had a blue screen on startup) running it through Wine, try Proton/ProtonTricks.
I don't think i'll play this again because i'm not a fan of playing a willing slut--i'm more into non-con and playing the victim. Just wanted to provide some feedback since this looks like a unique project that deserves more attention but it could use a lot more polish with the UX especially. The art looks really good though and character customisation is always really nice to have. Good luck!
