Version: 0.2.1b
TL;DR: Looks really good, but way too little content with the amount of grind. May be worth playing now, but it will probably be better in the future.
The good: The art is pretty good. The touching scenes are well done and have a good balance with the right balance of grind/strategy and satisfaction. The game has a decent level of polish for being as early as it is and I haven't run into any bugs.
The bad: The game just feels clunky (sometimes you can click anywhere to advance, sometimes you can't). The animations and transitions get boring and waste too much time for as many times as you will see them, and there's no way to turn them off. There also seemingly isn't a way to reset the progress, copy/load a save from a file, and there is only a daily autosave. I think I got to somewhere around 70-80% of the content, but there really isn't that much there (yet?). There also isn't much of a story arc to speak of right now.
The ugly: The grind on this game is pretty bad, especially for how little reward there is for it. It was bad enough that spent a bunch of time trying to bypass some of the grind rather than actually playing the game. The game either needs a serious rebalance or for a serious speed boost in the individual actions in grinding. The grind would also be a bit better if some elements of it weren't so heavily based on RNG.
Thoughts: This game still seems pretty early in development, so I hope the problems it has now will be fixed with the addition of more content and adding some quality-of-life features. I was torn between 2 and 3 stars, and decided on 3 with hope to the future. I'll try to check back in a few versions.
