Why do Japanese Devs make their game so hard and so frustrating to play? Who do they think they are? Professional game designers? Balancing the game and making it challenging to play is one thing, aye? But making it this superficially hard, deleting saves, etc. is simply asstarded beyond belief.

No, they're absolute degenerates making games for other degenerates like us, so why the fuck do they want to get cute and make games with the worst design decisions even a 5 years old wouldn't even think about making? It's like they do it on purpose. Because on top of hating women, they also hate you, the player.

It's the last time I ever download a game from Halasto.

The thing with the Nintendo games, is at least they were *fair*. Contra, for example, you could memorize the patterns and if you got gud, you didn't have to lose a life.

Then you have games like Silver Surfer that nobody liked because it was way too superficially hard for nothing. People don't mind hard as fuck games, as long as they're fair and predictable.

Contra, Silver Surfer, both of them didn't have save ability for the same reason, costly to implement it back then. Praising Contra yet talking shit on Silver Surfer is really ironic as both had superficially inflated difficulty mainly due to lack of saves. Contra is one of my fav games but the only reason people wasn't as hard on it for the lack of save was because it was an uncommon and costly tech back then, not some "Memorize the pattern, git gud" bs.

We are both making the same point tbh. Those games were made with the then tech limitations in mind. Contra was just much better designed compared to, say, silver surfer. Games now no longer have those limitations. Games made hard by removing or severely limiting saves now are just plain stupid designs.

The game seems easy enough on the medium difficulty. It not really possible to die, it's just a grind.

I was a little confused though, is the game linked so it can auto update? I downloaded it, and I swear it showed the "NTR-something or other" desciption for difficulty. But I booted it up the next day and it said "ordinary guy"? It's deleted now since I finished it, but I'm not a fan of things being linked once I download them.
Anyone else experience this?

Btw, it appears to be censored, unless I missed a patch in the download that needs applied after the fact. That should be changed in the OP or some decensor patch instructions should be listed somewhere.

Game's original images are baked. To make uncensored, need a graphics expert.

If you go to regedit.exe, find the game folder in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Halasto", and create the values yourself, you'll trick the game into thinking you unlocked the scenes.
Simply right click, select create new DWORD(32bit) value, input the correct name (shown in BaronBorte's post in the first page), and change the value from 0 to 1, the scene will be unlocked when you next launch the game.
I'll type down the names of each "event" code here for convenience. Remember to change their values to 1 AFTER you create them.

Oh I agree 100% either a successful troll or an example of a dev who lost the plot.
And I dunno about you but the most frustrating thing about this game is that is actually had a lot of potential.
But no devs ruined a good thing with certain game design choices they elected to make.
If this game had more CGs and was actually uncensored I would consider modding it to unshit it but not worth the time as it is right now.
