Maybe, it's possible he lost intrest and even if he did found a girlfriend, i think he could still develop! I'd just have liked if he had made some sort of an announcement. Even something a simple as "hey guys, i'm quitting game-making, peace out!" would have been fine. Plus the game is solid as fuck! animations, enemy variety, difficulty is hard enough. Hell, the animations are among the best i've seen for this sort of side-scroller!
Its Spine2d or something equivalent. They make smooth 2D animation without making the game lag too much
What if Grim never quit in the first place? what if hes just witholding his works, enjoying us fall deeper and deeper into madness awaiting his return? Clearly he has a domination/Ryona kink so it would make sense if our misery and pain gets him hard. Its the most delayed edge, the ultimate goon, its been years and we are still being edged, physically and psychologically in this great game of his design.
or maybe he was like "well I made money and since I dont want to give my fans false hope I will close my patreon, sure they would understand that im quitting doing porn games if I just disappear... right?"
If he has quit then I hope its something like that and not something serious like death or anything else

Him closing his Pateon is one of the biggest mysteries, yet my view is that he wanted to quit and saw it better to remove it. However, some XXX artists and game-makers are sometimes either so ashamed that they try to remove ALL traces of their work or they just want a completely new start and don't want to be reminded of their past, Grimhelm hasn't tried removing his games so i think he's not ashamed. Who knows why he did it?
he decided to quit but since people liked his game so much, he decided to create a new profile and restart his "time" on internet, under a new name
