It's frustrating that when this happens there's always a subset of people that have got to make it political. The problem is payment processors, nobody else.

NSFW Devs make their NSFW game and post it here for free.
Make a crappy SFW game and sell it on itchio. (or a decent game, that works too)
Link the itchio game's page here alongside their NSFW game and supporters can just purchase the SFW game.
The NSFW devs can still be supported right under the nose of those activists.
There's always a way around everything if people stick together and fight back.

why don't just go kagura way with patches, only cut all mentions of (banned themes) entirely in the unpatched version? And remove all mentions of said themes from the steam/itch description of course, it seems they only check the title name and description so farHow about this?

Yup pretty much. Everytime some autistic kid shoots up a school the conversation is always the same, no one should have guns and the reason why the kid did it is because he was brainwashed by violent video games.
These scumbags pick out the most extreme cases and then act as if everyone would do the same, just because it's possible.
And that exactly what is happening. Someone are envious that some beautiful females are successful, so the banning everything with somehow linked to that normal females. You now can only look at fat gay dudes. Looking at any females is prohibited, because it is objectification of any female looking people. Also procreation also forbidden now, because you use females for this.
so this is logic behind that group.
For Canadians, it would be good to write your MPs. I've done that myself, if enough people do, maybe they might take up the issue.
If you have a conservative MP, do not mention LGBTQ, and link the censorship of mature games to political expression. And it's one step from banning adult games to banning events like the Freedom Convoy.
For Liberal or NDP MPs, I'm not sure what triggers them to care.

Because its a temporaly solution at best, gta san adreas tried to pull it decade ago, with hot cofffee mod, but every politician and news outlet just ignored that and went full "you can rape poor prostitutes!!!!". Also, they doing this not for moral problems, but to assert dominance over market, they just continue to push other way.
Though there is little reason not to go kagura, but as i said its not solution, on top of that lion share of people will not understand that product you sell is actualy ero game and just gona ignore it.

Funny thing is EVERY country has mental illness, they play the same games, listen to the same music, watch the same movies/TV shows - there is just ONE developed country that has a couple things different and also has the mass shootings...
