In any case, the same people muddying the waters when a game was withdrawn from Steam months ago after receiving a ton of negative publicity are still out in full force, and it's no surprise. Then again, it's wild that you are actually replying to one of them. I am not sure why they enjoy the privilege of hanging around this site as if they are regular users when they are explicitly running cover for activists that want all kinds of games banned or neutered.
 i was correcting incorrect statements about itch. how the hell do you get from there to supporting groups like collective shout? take your meds.

so many paranoid schizos here :KEK:

^ Someone, please collect your bot. It's been repeating itself for months... Do I need to translate this to Aussie speak?

Unable to find any via tag search see:

Must've happened within the last few hours.

You are still able to find the games if you have the direct link for it though.

Edit: looks like they weed through all the NSFW games and ban those that are against Mastercards & Visas censorship.

Edit 2: someone DM'd me this list

Edit 3: Itch updated their Adult Conetent FAQ

The following is a non-exhaustive list of prohibited themes present in card processing networks. We are unable to support the sale of any works containing these topics:
  • Non-consensual content (real or implied)
  • Underage or “barely legal” themes
  • Incest or pseudo-incest content
  • Bestiality or animal-related
  • Rape, coercion, or force-related
  • Sex trafficking implications
  • Revenge porn / voyeur / hidden cam
  • Fetish involving bodily waste or extreme harm (e.g., “scat,” “vomit”)
Some good news lads! Most Itch.io games that are free have been listed again. Not sure for how long this is going to be the case, but it a step in the right direction. (though a very very very small step).

Can i ask whats the situation now? I havent been upto date with news.
Also i heard the ban was region specific? What about Asia?
Completely free items have been relisted and itch says they are looking for a new payment partner to handle adult stuff. As for region specific bans, the only recent one I can think of is the UK being banned due to their new age verification law.

It has to do with an Australian feminist group called collective shout. After tourists reported no mercy to the group. They used their power and supporters to gather up and raise their voice. Eventually with all the complaining they did to steam via emails and other methods. Steam complied and removed the game and ever since its been getting worse. Here is the timeline of their actions.
Holy hell we can never catch a break down here

Careful guys, Itch took down our game Rasiya The Awakening because "it depicted real life humans". WTF. As a 3D rendered succubus could be a real life human. So far Daz 3D rendered graphic may be at risk too. This thing may be starting as little and grow big faster before anyone can realize it.
My advice: If you are a developer, make a backup of your games, because no one knows where this will go.

I can't see them lasting. They were really only there because they'd allow what Patreon didn't. If they allow the same, might as well just go to Patreon with the bigger pool of possible donors.

Itch is a storefront, patreon is not. You don't find about projects through patreon, you support what you already know.

How do you guys think all this story will end? LOL
Kudos to Valve for spreading the truth so far.

The sun will run out of hydrogen and grow into a red giant, swallowing the Earth. Humanity will have gone extinct for several billion years, and Visa and Mastercard will still deny they had anything to do with anything, and continue to gaslight and lie about what has been going on.
