I was able to get a trackball to replace my mouse so i don't have to push the mouse around i can be lazy and rest my arm and just move my thumb around pain free (now I just have to get used to it)

Contemplated recommending that. I love thumb trackballs and even game with them.

I'am able to get good results with the new trackball (this is the first scene) and introducing a new girl (the Dance instructor) (give him 5 minutes, and they will be in bed together...)

Man, I love my Ergo MX trackball. Only downside is that unlike a gaming mouse, the buttons aren't rated for a wild amount of clicks. Between gaming and work, I tend to burn through a trackball every 1-2 years. (The left mouse button starts to double-click with a single press, indicating the switch underneath has started to fail.)

*Edit: Other downside is it's nearly impossible to draw a circle with one. lol

I've switched to using the various Chinese brand ones from Amazon as I've had better luck with durability. Pretty diassappointed in the lifespan of the Logitech ones if I'm honest especially compared to their price.

I've given up on expecting longevity from things like mice and charger cables. I just buy the cheapest piece of shit one wherever I'm at (the corner CVS often enough) and it lasts as long as the $300 gold-plated Monster brand one. :)

I used to have a wired one, which I loved, but which they stopped making. Personaly hate the wireless ones. Hate all wireless mice, to be honest, I find the lag noticable and batteries unreliable. So, for lack of wired thumbballs, I went back to regular wired mice. This one seems to be able to connect to usb for charging, but if it then still connects through bluetooth for input, that would solve only half the problems I have with it.

I too find wireless mice laggy. Fine for desktop use, but gaming not so much.
When I bought my gaming PC in 2021 ( my retirement present to myself) I went with Corsair gaming keyboard and mouse ( both wired) both going strong after 3 years.

I've never really experienced input lag with any of the wireless mice or keyboards I've used, although my current main plank for both my work and play computers is wired, it's also a weird ergo board that everyone in my family except me hates to use. I also have a smaller 65% wireless board that I use specifically to play stuff like minecraft where I want to be able to have easier access to all the keys (my main board is split) without having to take my hand off the mouse.

Know exactly what you mean. I found the Elecom EX-G trackball on Amazon for about $20, and it lasted a couple years. So I went back and bought a couple.
Now I have a comfortable trackball, and a spare if there's a problem. Works great, and I didn't break the bank.

Chapter 17 WIP (update #1) Almost Dead

35 of the 295 images have been completed for this chapter. It's been a slow week with my wrist problems and trying to get used to the new trackball mouse, but I'm making progress, and that's all that matters to me. I hope to be able to do more images next week.

stay safe out there.

Chapter 17 WIP (update #2) (Almost Dead)

I have completed 70 out of 295 images for this chapter. I'm still a bit slow, but I'm getting back up to speed and making progress. After creating the first animation for this chapter, I took a break and worked on the attached image, which is a full 4K render for my Patreons.

stay safe out there.

Chapter 17 WIP (update #3) (Almost Dead)

I have completed 110 out of 295 images for this chapter. My wrist feels almost normal now, just a little bit of an ache still. I did take a small break after completing the 100th image!

Stay safe out there.
