Off to a slow start and then stopped!
I started rendering the image for the new chapter this week, but I had to stop on Sunday as I got the translation files for 2Sides, so I had to get that integrated and tested. It will be released sometime today (hopefully).
So far, 18 of about 295 images have been completed for this chapter.

Now that 2 Sides is completed, will we start getting updates where the important events are seen through? Not just being started and the updates being random series of events, like the last update for example.
I don't think I've changed the style of way things happen in the story. for the 2 years (i think) while I rendered the images for 2Sides nothing in the writing has changes since all of this was written long before I started on 2Sides. I just really needed a break from working on the same thing and yes I have another project lined up that I will be starting on after this chapter.

You know I'm a fan, given my guide for getting all scenes earlier in the thread, and I'm still playing this and enjoying it... But you also know from my comments about 2Sides that I'm not going to hold back on criticism.
I do know what this user is talking about, and kinda agree with them.
From about the weddings onward, a lot of scenes in this game just... cut off halfway through, and feel incomplete. We don't see the rest of them (including a bunch of anticipated sex scenes that fall very flat for this reason), or narratively-important scenes are mentioned in passing but never shown (e.g. Jenny leaving the harem), or characters just vanish from the story and we don't see any of the expected continuation of interactions with them (e.g. Jocelyn). There's a definite, distinct shift at that point.
I like the anticipated sex scenes. i have a very vivid immigration and I have to draw a line on what to show and what to leave to the imagination of the reader, or I might never get anything released.
we knew Jenny was only going to be a temp when we hired her as a stand in for PeiPei but dont worry about her too much she'll be back
again back to what can I render and still make a full chapter. think of all of this as like a sitcom or a sexcom show I can't show everything (i'm not an IRL streamer) but don't worry about Jocelny Lou if working on bringing her back permeant and she'll introduce us to somebody
i gotta spread some things out, it's just how I write and create. just give me some time and I'll get us there hopefully
I understand what you are saying, and at the end of the day it's obviously your decision, but...
This is us, the players (I believe I speak for more than just myself when I say this) telling you "This is how we see it.", "This is how we feel" "We do not like it!".
Lately you have been just scratching the surface of moments that are important to us (Darcy battling her feelings for you, You are about to visit Ichika's family, etc) but never give us those moments (The process of Darcy coming to terms with and accepting her feelings for you, The actual visit with Ichika's parents, etc). There has been a definite shift for the worst. I've noticed it since the beginning of last update, some players have noticed it since a bit before the weddings. Perhaps they are right as I am not the most observant person.
P.S. In case it wasn't clear. I am not trying to be rude or to hate on the game or on you. On the contrary, it's because I love this game so much that I care about missing on those important moments.

You may be misunderstanding what I mean. You say you like the anticipated sex scenes... But you don't actually show them to us. You show us the lead-up, or the very start of it, and then BAM, on to the next scene. Anyone interested in seeing the rest of that scene ends up frustrated and disappointed, because it's not like you're going to return to it later on to fill out the rest of it, and let the characters finish on-camera. And it wasn't about Jenny leaving the harem at all (though I'm not particularly happy about that in general, since it doesn't make much narrative sense as-is), I was complaining about her leaving the harem completely off-camera. It just feels like, since the weddings, we're only getting these tiny snippets of incomplete but important scenes (when they're not just a text description of something important that happened that we don't get to watch), instead of seeing those meaningful, important scenes all the way through.
i like them in that when they are left open it allows my mind to fill in the blanks and not the writer. (i will try to keep them to a minimum)
(my reasoning) If i had a tearful goodbye or a party for Jenny scene in ch14, and then she comes back in 20 someone would have said well why did you have that tearful goodbye/party scene for Jenny when you just bring her back 6 chapters later
as for going home with Ichika; having lived in Japan for a few years I know the scenery and the houses very well, and I did not have the assets to even remotely show them there even close to accurately, so I just ended the chapter on them in the plane
From my personal viewpoint and I know that is all it is, it seams that by splitting your time between projects, your not putting all your efforts into it and not giving this your undivided work. Starting something new without finishing what is started is what I feel is what is upsetting the most people here. (several Devs are doing this, some with up to five projects and getting nowhere on any, making some money off each) I understand, from your earlier comments your need to do different things to not get, overwhelmed and bogged down. Just understand everything has an affect on something. Love your work, just something to think on.

I've completed 125 of the 295 images for this chapter so far.
Had some fun at work when everyone freaked out because the building was swaying (there was an earthquake in Thailand). Having lived in California for too long, it didn't bother me, and I kept on working. I finally went down in the elevator. "It's just an earthquake. What's wrong?" Ahhhh, good times.

I have a friend from California, earthquakes don't bother him, he served in combat no problem, but bring on the possibility of a tornado and he freaked. Be Safe.

I am up to the point where Sharon has woken up in the hospital, and her husband has been captured. I like how you are putting in that military members are the only people in the US that can be charged for the same crime twice. Once under US/local laws as any citizen would, and again under the UCMJ. I would be surprised if he got the BCD, I would think this would fall under Dishonorable. Mostly because BCD can be upgraded to General over time, and to Honorable after more time. Clearly there is nothing honorable about this man. Then again, that's just my opinion. I don't know the laws under the UCMJ that would apply, and how severely he could be punished. Still, he'll have to serve his prison time for the military before he can start his prison time for the State, so he won't be a concern any time soon.

He will be discharged, along with possible reduction in rank, and forfeiture of pay. Then the military person will be turned over to public authorities after his discharge for further punishment
