I don't think Diana is in a relationship with the other girl, it seems more like fuckbuddy type thing.
I've also got a Diana save and it seems she really does like the MC and want something with him but i'm guessing something in her past is part of the reason she seems scared to commit to something serious. I think her route will change to a real relationship as things go on.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. It's more likely to go faster on a monitor that goes beyond 60hz. 60hz is the average set by Tom (the Renpy engine creator) that it functions on. I'm not an engine programmer or Python code expert, so it's difficult to get that working correctly on everything, as I'd have to dig into the source code.
