I had issues with that, you need to have the mouse sit on the raft and get taken to the button... easy enough right?

HOWEVER for me the the area the game considered "safe" was moving before the raft was, so I had to have the mouse leading the raft.

I put it in window mode and made the window smaller and it seemed to help a little with reducing the lag.
