I'm curious if you'll dock points due to 'what you know' now. It's a story that continues. You are probably not supposed to get all the answers right from the get go and I bet that a lot of your points will be set up in ignorance. Not that saying your dumb or anything, but just because you don't know how things are at this current version, doesn't mean it's bad. Just means that it'll be more clear as things go on. Anyone who actually knows how the story would probably facepalm at people docking points due to not knowing. It's like the who 'MC could have died' thing. People were so pissed off and they were completely wrong. It wasn't a thing.

"Feel like an outcast". That is a bold statement. If the dev says he won't then he wont. I guess back to the future was a horrific ending too. His life was changed for the better, but his family was different.
I will write my review with reasoning on why I gave a certain score and it will be based on the current state of the game, not the future or promises of how something is going to change or be explained in future updates, I can only rate what is in front of me. If it improves over time, I will be sure to come back and update the review in a year or so, god willing I am alive and if updates have been released by then. I will even have no problem if you want to remind me if I forget.
But if you are saying you have some knowledge and I should wait for more releases as it is one of those games that needs a few more releases. I am not against waiting, I can wait.

Unfortunatly as the dev deleted their account due to muppets thats used this thred for this game to moan about him not working on his other game instead of moaning on his other games thred as they should have.
So the Dev is unlikly to hear what is said here unless its passed on to them.
And although I see the Dev's point and understand his reasons he forget one thing.
Not only do some people find it hard to forgive stuff like what Kim did and her responce to it.
But Kim could only redeem herself as the Dev plans if she allowed to save MC's life because once back in our own time.
For them it would be the end of the friendship and the very last time the MC and Kim hung out together not to mention the very last time the MC would even be willing to talk to Kim.
To all intents and purposes She would now be considered dead to the MC.
Not everyone believe the saying "everyone deserves a second chance" thats a saying thats allready been proved to be a saying that gets people killed.
And it's extreamly hard if nigh impossible to redeem yourself if the person that you hurt won't have anything to do with you.
Therefore with the people that feel this way it's not so suprising they want a way to tell Kim to fuck off.
Me i would definatly cut ties with her in RL but for the games sake give her a chance but thats me.

I have talked with the dev and I actually do know some key big moments. I won't ever spoil them though. I just see a lot of complaining built up on ignorance. Just so many wrong people, not because they missed something, but because the story isn't there yet. The premise of time travel is built on unlikeliness, but if ppl always went with what would most likely happen, that would be boring.
Being negatively critical because you don't know the answer yet is bad. Movies and tv shows often end on a cliffhanger. Doesn't mean the whole movie/season was terrible. Just gotta wait to see what happens.

Obviously the dev has his story and knows what will happen and we dont. But c'mon trying to compare a porn game to a regular movie. Of course it's going to be weird for him at first. I was referring to the whole outcasts statement. Feeling like an outcast and a friend betrayal are two completely different things. Again, I'm sure when the next update or two happens it'll show exactly how things are gonna be. You're just speculating and believing it's going to go one way, when in fact it won't.
I am on the fence with this as I am finding the story really interesting however let me be blunt for a lot of people it doesn't matter if Kim suddenly cured cancer to make the world better, the fact is she broke the MC/our trust and I'm not sure about anyone else but even if I wanted to trust someone again if they had betrayed me like that then I doubt I ever could... From what i read the Dev is saying that Kims positive influences in the world will outweigh the action she committed but that's not the point. The point is that most people can't just go back to being "best friends" with a person that has done that. I certainly couldn't. So yes the MC might let things go and not try for any revenge but he couldn't ever go back to the way things were with Kim.

For those complaining about the story just think about one thing its really early stage so we dont know what path the story is gonna take, so complaining how Kim fck up and ranting how the dev shouldnt have made that happen, its not gonna make any difference, this is not the end of the story its the start so alot can happen and the dev can always make some touches.
Who would know that one scene would make a huge war and long post text's.
ICC keep the story has it is, cause for me i didnt have any problems with the story im actually looking forward to see how the story will go and the only really complain i have its the update size which u know already.

Yeah yeah, bla bla bla, Now:You, the MC and your best friend, Kimberly stumble upon an ancient.... artifact. Upon touch you witness a vague catastrophic event that takes place in the near future. This artifact has uncontrollable powers, but feeds off of sexual energy to survive. The player will need to feed onto his own desires to prevent the artifact from killing it's host and bringing terrible monster's into this world. These powers may provide scenes with invisibility, instantly making people horny, Increase Penis Size, etc. Body-switching? Im not speculating anything, I already said the dev has his story. And I'm not saying it will go one way or another. I'm saying you come back home and you see everything is totally different "better no doubt" but still different. You supposedly are supposed to be used to the life you have now which is better than the one you where living. But you dont feel right because in your mind this is not the life you grew up with. Like I said he will feel like something is fundamentally wrong until he gets used to it and assimilated the new situation he is in.so yeah he will feel like an outcast because his personal history and that of his family is different from what he knows. It's like you go to school and learn history but then go to another country where their point of view on history is different. You will feel like an outsider because you see things differently.

Do not forget about that part of the disaster they felt something about happening.
Though in defense of the Kim haters, it is not impossible since dev does know the rest of the story and all that will happen in it his overall impression of Kim is better as that of the players that do not have all that information yet and as such he underestimated a bit how much of a cunt she seemed in that scene for people that do not know the whole story yet.

I mean, with that move she was a cunt regardless of her future char evolution, and for a lot of people that is the problem
Maybe she'll become the best character ever of every vn on this site, but that was a dick move, period
And i'm not saying that what she did negates any evolution she'll have in the future (as i said mybe she'll become my favorite char ever), but for what she did perople have a right to be mad at her

Yeah I meant it more, since dev does know all inns and outs of her character, including all her current and future good sides and how she develops he might have been just a bit too influenced by that knowledge and not understanding fully how bad she would be shown in that scene for someone without knowing that char so completely as he does. If true that scene and the one after might need some slight tweaking, if not well then it is what it is. Only dev can decide that.
Just played another game a few days ago with a much disliked character where same thing plays a bit.
I don't think the dev thinks that you shouldn't, but more towards the people that say 'i hated that, uninstalled shit game'

Yeah, it can be hard for a writer who knows everything about the story to fully gauge the reaction in advance of people who run into that scene without that further knowledge. It is not only us players who can have their blind spots: PWell, i know he wanted to elicit an emotional response in the players with that development, and i'll say he was successful in that.
