I hope he would drop FILF. He clearly was not into it. It was becoming a bit similar to Milfy City and it had no supernatural elements.
ICC seems to shine when there's something supernatural going on. FILF was boring and getting nowhere.
IC in Paradise was great tho. IMO, he dropped the wrong game.

I hate her because she's really arrogant and selfish which causes her to not think through her actions. If she didn't have one of those traits, at worst she would be slightly annoying. Right now she doesn't think though any of her actions cause,I think sex scene will be replaced by something much more mild.

Sure a lot of people can find her personality annoying. But her character overall no longer will be in the "ugh I cant play this game because I have to hang around this bitch" zone. Now we can stick around, enjoy other stuff and maybe we wont even notice when we will start to like her.

On reflection, I figured that I quite liked Kim up until 'the incident'. Yeah, she might have been a bit narcissistic and full of herself, but her relationship with the MC seemed healthy. Sure, she messed up with the photos, but if it hadn't been for her dragging the MC to the forest in the first place, he would've got a shit grade anyway. And seeing how devastated she was when pleading with Ms Rivera made a point about how much she cared for the MC.
Which is why what she did at the water tower still doesn't sit right with me. If it was a male best friend that did that, gut reaction was that he'd be taking the quick route down to the ground. Is it that much less of a douche move because she's a girl? Nail in the coffin was her contriteness quickly changing to 'I apologised already, now get the fuck over it'. Like we're supposed to feel equally bad for her because she lost her favourite jacket. That's a friendship-ending response IMO, more than the events that preceded it, even if she does make another half-assed attempt at an apology afterwards.
I'm not fully against reconciliation, but it'll have to be a hell of a job justifying it. So far, the story's been perfectly set up to show a friendship breaking down, and there should be a lot of ground covered before those bridges are mended. Otherwise, it might come off a bit cheap.
I appreciate the MC's personal arc though - Julia's happiness was one of the things he wished for the most, and finally he got his wish, even if it did sorta cost him his friendship with Kim. Then again, Kim's friendship wasn't one of his life goals, so maybe the trade-off was worth it.

I'm actually arguing for keeping it the same with her redemption arc ending in sex. Possibly with a three-way with mom
The problem is she follows her id and doesn't think about who her action could effect her friend. It's not that she doesn't care about her friend, it's that her based wants and desires supersede everything else, including her friend.
It's a less of a douche move cause she a cute girl in a porn game, so ultimately she just another notch on the bedpost. If this wasn't a porn anything, she would be out of the plot or go antagonist. Everything needs to be keep together just enough so sex can happen later on.
GO back to ice cream parlor, look on the desk they were sitting on. It's very small but a note is there that will progress the story

"We're friends, so long as it doesn't keep me from getting what I want," isn't much of a foundation for a strong friendship, though. I'm fine with how things went down if this was a one-off self-contained story. Something lost, something gained, people move on. But if the game intends to throw MC and Kim together on more adventures, as the update ending message implied, then that relationship badly needs to be fixed, and not just with a quickfix band-aid. If Kim can't be trusted to put anything over her own needs, MC really shouldn't be trusting her with anything important ever again. No guarantees that every time she follows her desires leads to a fairytale ending.
I realise that it's a porn game and everyone's ok with a certain level of suspension of disbelief. But the game is otherwise well-written enough, and it'd be nice to see internal logic play out in a credible manner.
P.S - When you compare Kim's friendship to how Penny backed you up the whole day (even excluding the BJ) - taking on the jocks, getting over her fear climbing the ladder to follow you, being distraught when she learned you'd be leaving. I mean, she just came across as the better companion. Maybe it was too perfect to last, but Kim still suffers in comparison.

I applaud the change announcement by the Dev, not because it came from a huge amount of criticsm on f95 (that is actually bad for the dev to change under pressure, Imagine Dostoyevski changing his books because someone did not like part of them) but if he re-thinked the scene due to discrepancy in quality/consistency with the rest of his writing. As a writer myself - it is singularly hard to convey long arching story and ideas in episodic content and transfer creator's exact ideas and feelings. As seen here, the dev definitely has a long, deep story for Kim in plans, and the redemption arc looks to be very important to her. So she needed to commit a friendship breaking act. It's just that this came out in the game a bit too strong, too much out of the line by the remaining tone and approach, as well as quality of writing.
So if you are reading this ICC - keep up the great work you have on story and the fantastic graphics. If you are unsure, and if you are willing - reach out to people to discuss critical story points just to get a second/third pair of eyes/opinions. I hope you are not discouraged by this growing pains (speaking from experience) for a good story
Internet has a way of anonymizing people and in that anonymity giving them the option to be more bitter, more judgmental and meaner than they would be in person. So my best advice is 99% of blind internet hate is not worth your nerves and time. If someone can elaborate in a civil manner on their criticism of your work, then give them time of day

Honestly, it would be better to keep everything as is. Just have the MC tell her that because everything worked out, he'll be polite to her, but her time traveling days are over (she showed her true colors, and clearly can't be trusted to be/take his side when it counts). Tell her to be a lesbian escort or w/e that girl wanted to hire Kim for at the start of the story. It would force a character arc for the MC that he's in control of his destiny, not Kim....take his life by the balls, and man up.
Then cuck Kim with her mom later on as revenge.

It will be very interesting to see how the story salvages a friendship breaking betrayal (tame or extreme it's still a betrayal), bringing her back into the trusted graces of the MC. For the life of me, I don't see how though.

Exactly. The fix will be character development on both characters. Kim stops putting herself before her friends, MC stops being passive about life.
