Our version numbering scheme is season.episode.bugfix, hence the first public release for the latest episode is v2.5.0.

Yes, v2.1.0 was released on Christmas 2023 for top tier patrons. But why are you talking about it?

If you have a normal save from v1.9.x (after MC left Dani's house after their date ended), you can use it to start S2 in any v2.x. But, we don't use export saves that were a part of v1.9.0. I recommend using v1.9.1 to create all your playthrough saves for S2.
because if I am correct, I assume that the first release was on the first months of 2024, or at least december 2023. so if the 5 of the v2.5.0 signifies that it's only the fifth update

also my games I downloaded from f95zone are all gone, but do I still have to download v1.9.1 even if entirely new playthrough?

Just wondering how long these seasons are, but don't sweat it though.
The first season takes roughly 7 minutes and 30 seconds to skip if you choose as many paths as possible and spend about 3 seconds per choice. Reading all dialogue takes much longer but it depends on how well you understand English. Also, some people look at renders too. It varies, you know. Naturally the second season takes less time to skip because it's not complete. ;)

Yeah, I have skipped a lot when working with AE's code and testing each update... To me, the only good measuring stick for the length of a visual novel is how long it takes to skip from start to finish. A dialogue line can be a word or 3-4 lines of text so using statistics from the linter isn't helpful either. Yeah, skipping works... :geek:

PS. Our version numbers tell how many episodes in the build is: season.episode.release (1.9.1 and 2.5.0).
