THANK YOU SO MUCH.
A while back I got hit by a virus. So, the only solution was total wipe.
Sadly, I didn't move my game folders over for the devs who like to have their saves over in the operating system instead of in the game folder itself.
I've had to either ignore playing the games from the start or, try and get saves.
So, thank you once agian for the being helpful.

Most games these days store user related files like game configuration and saves somewhere in the user profile because then game related files can be located wherever the user wants to have them. In general, that enables moving/deleting the game files without having to worry about losing the game progress.
The same logic is used by countless applications, by the way. That's why the user profile is one of the most important locations to backup.
Just like cxx said above, Renpy also stores and uses save files in gamerootfolder/game/saves (gamerootfolder being the folder with gamename.py and the executables) in addition to the folder in the user profile. If the same file name exists in both locations, Renpy uses the file in the user profile (see options.rpy and config.save_directory where the game looks for save files).
What comes to AE saves from the first season, most choices are made there and the second season uses them. Also, if you want to see all content, at least two playthroughs/saves are needed in a non-modded AE. Skipping all dialogue in S1 takes roughly 7-8 minutes so it takes about 20 minutes to make your two playthrough saves for S2 just the way you want them instead of using someone else's choices.

Yeah, those 2 are from mrknobb's first game. We also see the MC and one of the main LI's from that game in line at the cinema (a scene from that game).

. Longer answer: The Steam version is the season 1 but it's not compatible with the standalone v1.9.1 (nor with the standalone v2.x) that MrK has in his Patreon (and also in the OP). We added extra stuff that are not in v1.9.1. For example, one was a built-in hint system so that nobody shouldn't need to try to make or to install the wt mod that was badly broken when we released the S1 in Steam.
Oh, but the version designation is misleading, here it is 1.9.1 so I thought the Steam version was outdated and here it is newer.

MrKnobb started versioning in the standalone version with both "vs1.1.0" and "ep1" back in 2020 (I wasn't a part of the team then). After I got into the team, we started to use one version number system and we ended with the format season.episode.bugfix.
But, when we released the Steam version, we decided to start with 1.0. But we chose not to show the actual version number because it was the Steam edition of AE's first season and all players should be using the latest version available so it was simply Season 1:
It is even using a different save directory from the standalone version so using v1.9.x in the Steam edition would be even more confusing because versions are not compatible with each other, right?
If we go according to the timeline after 1.9.0:- the initial release of Steam Edition would have been 1.9.1,
- the first bugfix for the Steam edition (1.0.1) would have been 1.9.2,
- the current 1.9.1 would have been 1.9.3, and
- remaining bugfixes for the Steam edition would have been 1.9.4 and 1.9.5.

maybe u can clarify something....if is possible....harem tah but not full harem,..or harem tag but we need to wait for updates to nail those ladies thatwe didnt chose before?

Not sure what you mean. But the harem tag in this site seems to be defined in the Tags Rules And List thread as:
I guess with "full harem" you might mean all available women to be in the harem in a single playthrough. I've asked MrK about his plans about having both Andi/Tania and Sams/Roselind and Charm/Honey pairs in the harem but he has been changing his plans as time has gone on so I stopped asking. The last chat about his harem plans was about if both Sams and Roselind would be in the harem in the end or not. His plans were a bit surprising but I'm not gonna tell anything in case he'll change his plans. I have no idea what he'll do in the remaining episodes.
I bet having ladies of two planets in the harem should be just fine if you can't have the full harem in a single playthrough.
MrK has mentioned many times that AE has been meant to be played multiple times (at least twice) to get all content... *shrugs* If you want to ask more about his plans, join his Discord server (link in the OP) and ask there.
