Before the whole detective chick conundrum and you will see something close to Savior game plot,
had you played that game, it involves alternate dymensions like in the movie the one with jet li:
MC is important to some power players from one alternate earth .. detective is sent to retrieve him.

Canto Forte thx for recommendation but i have actually played it to current end and liked it.
mc is just fine except maybe a bit cowardish but girls like him which is only thing mattering and cowardliness will subside eventually.
