So the game is abandoned and no hope for it??

Game dev was online Thurday. That Abandoned algorythm / parameters just keeps tagged a certain time delay.

I am a really old guy and maybe the younger folks enjoy the challenge of the puzzles and games, but I get really frustrated and want to quit. Is it possible to bypass the puzzles? I just want to get to the fun part. Waiting for a response before I drop the game. A pass button on games would be awesome.

There's literally a walkthrough on the first page, at the bottom of the 1st post, where all the links are, and there are the solutions of every puzzle on said walkthrough

Not sure, on his website dev's says he wants to develop another project that may be on Patreon, respecting "Patreon codes". He doesn't seem to be saying that he's going to completely stop developing Alvein. I think the game will get an update, but potentially in a very long time!

Oh, wow.. found it in community guidelines. Pretty dumb if you ask me. Game Of Thrones was allowed to show it. And it seems like this is a somewhat common genre in doujinshi.

Interesting, if you read it however, GOT falls under one of the exceptions listed here: "fictional plot points involving incest that are part of a larger narrative".

So you can have incest if the main point of the incest is not...that you see sex. It has to be meaningful to a plot that is not just about having sex or having incestuous sex. Of course, GOT was never subject to Patreon TOS either so lol, the comparison was always kinda silly.

According to their rules, we’re not allowed to fund Alvein even on another platform. In other words, either we stay on Patreon and make a new game, or we leave Patreon for good.

They've completely abandoned Alvein in favor of the new project.

If a game gets marked abandoned on F95 before it has been 1.5 years it's due to the developer saying that they aren't going to continue development on it. If it's been 1.5+ years it's due to us either: Not receiving any leaks or the game straight up hasn't had a release since then so we're assuming based on the lack of activity.

The only way I see this possible is by someone else taking the project. Although I hardly believe JuicyLoop would give it to anyone

Dev said they would pick this back up, but from what I seen, when a Dev says they are moving away from something and might continue it later, I never once seen one go back to what they put aside.

The Tyrant came back from the dead, so did Milfy City and Urban Demons. It does happen, but it's rare. Also, devs that moved on to new projects, that aren't as well received, sometimes go back to older things, that were more popular, for a boost.
