My suggestions in no particular order:
Lord Goblin - Interesting management type game, great art, very poor development cycle
Goblin Walker - Quite a unique beat 'em up
The Princes and the Tower - Cool management trainer with a unique character style
Princes in the Tower (First "part" is abandoned...) Princes in the Tower 2 - A very ambitious attempt to "replicate" the above game in the RPGM engine with a handful of new ideas
Goblin Strike Back - Very specific and, for me, a bit tedious gameplay about managing and exchanging resources to complete the levels, but a very nice graphic style
And last but not least: Grolokk - My favorite! A great blend of typical RPGM gameplay with light management, fun but engaging story full of dark humor, and top-tier graphic style and character design. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons abandoned. A huge loss to our hearts

this map is too long and complicated for this game to have a walkthrough system. doesn't help that like a third of the game in russian regardless of if you choose english or not, especially the quest log seeing as it's pretty important. not that it matters, it rarely gives you directions on what to do anyway

I'm stuck after fighting the tentacle monster thing where you get the broken sword. I beat the monster but don't know how to leave.
Nevermind. I glitched it. Long story short, I have a program I run to cheat games like these. That was causing the issue.

Go into Amber's house and look for the red summoning circle at the end of her bed, there's a teleportation item in key items that will bring you back to the village.

It's a bug, I'm stupid and just forgot to activate the quest to repair the sword after starting chapter 3.

I suppose you'll need to find 4 pieces of a crown and then fix it. One part is to the east of the Bandit Camp, to get other two you'll need to go to the west. Can't remember where to ge the first one, but I suppose you'll get while completing the story
