In future updates you will be able to continue the game, you will just reach a different ending where Holly is not corrupted. But at this point, there is simply no more content.So, basically if I didn't do that I can proceed with the game? that's fucked up

Interesting. I also hit the same discussion with the Blacksmith, but as I didn't corrupt holly I am < corruption level 2 (sitting on level 1 ,850/1000) . So I figured that I just can't get corruption / lewdness high enough to trigger these scenes.
But seeing it doesn't work on someone with that high level makes me think it's something else entirely that isn't triggering that is also an obstacle to those scenes. Added my save for an example if anyone wants to see.

I don't know, I've checked everything many times. There's nothing that would prevent the necessary variable from turning on. It turns on after you defeat the demon in the ancient temple together with Holly.
Initially, when the game was released to the public, I forgot to turn on this variable at that moment, which is why the blacksmith was inactive. Then I updated the game and fixed it in version 0.40a.
I checked your save and you have the same problem. Perhaps you have an old version of the game (just 0.40), or when transferring saves you did not start Chapter 3 from the very beginning. I don't know of any other explanation.

No worries, knowing that it's a variable that should trigger at that event means I can dig around in mtool at that exact moment and see what I find.
Edit: Deleting all the save files in the game directory - not just starting a new save, but the global saves etc fixed it for me. I can't really figure out why, but that did finally work.

I've run into a bug where if you beat Glenn and George, the game freezes. She walks to the middle of the screen after the battle and then everything stops, game crashed out. Right now to get past it I have to lose on purpose.

thanks! So am I right assuming I cant level up to 2 despite having the points? Rule #4 of all RPG games NEVER make a progression NPC unavailable for the sake of an event.....

I don't understand, do you need level 2 before going to the bandit camp for the first time?
Because in the bandit camp I reached the points for level 2 but I can't leave the camp to go back to see the waitress in the village, is that normal?

You should be able to go back to the village easily. One you cap at lvl 2. Once you start chapter three you have to go back. As soon as you are done with the opening part you go straight to the waitress and should be able to unlock the next level.
