Call the update whatever you want, but whatever it is, it is the opposite of abandoned.

I don't mind more challenging but tbh I'm not playing this game for the gameplay, so I liked the easy combat to get me where I want to goThey'll all be in the new style, because the artist moved from GZone to a new person.
The studio (Team Bieno) is now working in 2 games (this and another one I forgot), so Gzone - the previous artist and, well, 'director' of the studio - lended the artist position to a new person who drew the new sprites.
Dunno, man. I'd at least play the redux before condemning the game.
I like the new combat system. The old one only required you to pump all points in STR and it was easy peasy. The new one require some strategy. The enemies healing mid-combat is maddening, though.
Nope, they're all from the old style.
Huge code ovehauls like this one always break old saves. Gotta play it from the start.
Okay, that was pretty unnecessary. The old scene was great (and I don't even plan on pursuing Jazz). The new one... meh.
Morah either lies or is kept in the dark by his superiors because the information he gave us is simply not correct.I don't know if he won't draw anything anymore... That's something only MorahZamora can answer. What I know is that they needed a new artist and I guess it's because GZone is busy with the development part of both Redux and the other game
this redesign is a fanart? pls tell me no sane person does something this evil.MorahZamora You asked a couple pages back about what people find wrong with the update:
1. The faces, and eyes in particular, have completely lost all semblance to the original character and style. Honestly, if I hadn't been reading about all of this I would've thought the Paulina image was some photoshopped joke for a meme.
2. The hair from what I've seen in the screenshots posted have been made generic. Maddie's bob, for instance, has gone from its strange almost bell or bowl-shape to a boring, normal generic straight-down bob. Jazz has been the same way, with the area around the part in her hair looking sort of off. Even Paulina's hair looks off, though in this case I think its because this art style gives a dimension to the head that the original artstyle didn't, by adding more shading.
3. The bodies seem sort of lackluster in some of these posts, and scenes have been de-lewded.
(Personal Worry, not a point.)I haven't seen their bodies, and I don't quite frankly want to. The way breasts were colored and shaded were done almost perfect to my taste...
But, rejoice in the knowledge this isn't the worst character redesign I've seen on this site. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
There's a computer in Danny's room. You can access the replays therehow do i get the fullo scenes replay? pls help
Give it some time to allow a fork branch or an all new team to tackle DP, then we can say it's abandoned. Is this game abandoned?
the spectra image shown here is great, the tweaks work way better on a character like her then they do with the younger characters. the 'issue' though is this isnt how she'll look during sex scenes, she'll get the way off anime treatment like the rest.Hey everybody, glad to see everybody enjoying the new update!
Okay, but seriously, here again to answer some things, and clear up some stuff: The job of designing new character portraits went to Psymind a few months back. He's a talented artist who wanted to add his own spin on the designs. I get the impression that GZone is just not a fan of characters being tubby/having some plump to them, even if it adds variety. His ideal model form is something like Nurse Kate, and that's generally what a lot of the other characters end up looking like. So, to make them a little different at least, Psymind drew these new portraits (Valerie Gray and Principal Ishiyama) as slightly off-model to suit GZone's vision, but still trying to give them a little bit of their original design. Obviously though, that's not what everyone is mainly upset about, so...
GZone and I both thought that the game needed to have some change to the art in terms of production. I think we gravely mistook a bulk of the fan's disinterest in diverging any amount in terms of style from the original show. I don't think that what Psymind pitched and what GZone approved of was entirely perfect, but I still think it was a good start and showed more competence in the art department, something GZone agreed with, even when it was replacing *his* art.
We've since heard the complaints and have agreed that despite our intentions to improve, there shouldn't have been *as* dramatic a shift. Psymind has been great during this, asking to receive a number of your critiques and feedback so that he may improve things for the better. We don't know the *exact* way we're planning on amending some of the issues you guys have raised, but we believe there is room for change and improvement.
Also, to mention the Jazz bath scene, in particular, we thought that so early on, there shouldn't have been such a visually jarring glimpse of Jazz's nudity for the sake of the storyline progression. We thought that as things go on with each character, there should be some sort of general progression feeling, more in line with raising the tension. Hence, no explicit nudity for Jazz's FIRST scene between brother and sister.
And Psymind agrees he actually messed up on that one in parts so it is also his least favorite image he's done. We both think the framing of the head is odd. Again, potential growth for change.
Anyway, I simply write all this to say "Hey, if you don't like it, I'm sorry, we're not perfect, we're gonna listen and improve". We're not so far up our own asses to think that what we've put out is perfect or that we can't take constructive criticism. We're going to keep working at this so that people enjoy what we're doing, that's why I work on Amity Park. That's why I do this job.
Closing thoughts, what do you guys think of this Penelope Spectra design? Is this something that falls within more of your interests, or if it's another "Goddammit, they even fucked up Spectra" type of feeling.
Cheers.

Firstly, thank you for actually listening to your base, versus the “You don’t like it, don’t play it attitude that other Devs foolishly adapt.Hey everybody, glad to see everybody enjoying the new update!

My only complaint is the new art style of Paulina's face, Jazz's face, Danny when Kate is jerking him off (he looks weird in that scene for some reason, like his face or head or something). I'm only on ch. 4 right now so not sure about the rest yet. When you put it that way for Jazz's tits not being shown and Paulina not being fully naked, that makes sense for story telling purpose and I don't really have a complaint about that.Hey everybody, glad to see everybody enjoying the new update!
