It was. You have to choose her as your partner for either Party Night or Orgone collection.
I don't believe there will be marriage with her because Sam seems to be the 'canon' line here. Still, Desiree's best girl!

Are you using uploadhaven? I remember one of these website when you first download, it'll give you a fake file, which is probably trapped like you say. But subsequent download gives you the proper file.

EDIT : Yeah it's uploadhaven. When you use the free version, you click the download and it opens a new tab to download something, but that's a dud. Close tab, you're back to the uploadhaven tab, click again download and it'll start to download the file you intended to get.

Have you tried to save after the fight and reload (to be safe quit the game after saving, just in case, and save on a free slot)?

Tried that just now, didn't fix it.

EDIT: Okay, I found a solution - I went to the Battle Simulator on a whim, with the options bar still gone from the Shadow fight, and, after the Simulation, the bar reappeared.

Art styles always evolve, look at any artist and you'll notice a massive shift in quality as they improve and find their own personal style.

Not ANY artist, just most.
I have seen several artists that got worse, or stayed exactly the same.

I mean holy fuck there is one artist who has a busted scanner that always puts a line of artifacting 1 pixel wide in every single image he does. and he had that for 15 years. he rebooted his porn web comic 4 times... and the art stayed roughly the same each time.

But in general I agree with you about most artists
