I was really worried for a second when I saw the art was changing. But as long as the standing portraits are the same it can’t be much worse. I do think that Pauline scene is a direct downgrade though.

I feel like devs always do some sort of overhaul to their game when they run out of ideas and need to make work for themselves. That’s the only explanation I can think of to go back through and make perfectly good scenes worse in this game. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I liked it better when the scenes was in the western artstyle, the anime artstyle just throws me off for reasons is I find anime extremely boring and animeing western cartoons/games or westerning anime cartoons/games does not have that same feel as the original styles(BTW, I've never seen any anime stuff go western-style ever, it's always western into anime).
I think might have to drop out from this game, if they keep the anime style that barely resembles the show characters, cause I won't be able to find any enjoyment out of it anymore.

I enjoyed the old style as well. Another game doing an unnecessary overhaul.

I'm just done checking all the scenes in the Gallery and look like only Paulina got reworked and so far beside the new gym scene only the tentacle got change. The rest of the H scenes from old to new still keeping their old art style so I think nothing too trivial so far

It was nice but the game’s spirit has been drowned in anime. I look forward to someone creating another lower quality rendition of Danny Phantom, at least with show accuracy geometry. I even recommend getting D-Boy on board for animations.

I like anime style but what made this game stand out was how close it was to the original cartoon style.

I genuinely thought this game was dead.

So, I haven't downloaded the new version yet, but I completed the previous upload months ago, and after looking at some of the screenshots of the new artstyle, I understand why people have a problem. It isn't that the new art is necessarily bad, hell, in some cases it's even more detailed. The problem is that it isn't "Danny Phantom".

Danny Phantom's artstyle was pretty basic and flat, but it had a charm to it that people have grown up watching and familiarised themselves with for well over a decade now, and seeing the characters in another art style, especially one based on a completely different style of illustration, is jarring. In a weird way it gives off an almost uncanny valley effect. It's like someone making a game based on the "Powerpuff Girls" but suddenly using the art style for "Powerpuff Girls Z". Not bad, just off.

Damn, they even removed one of the old scenes. Such a shame, I really liked that scene where danny pulled out his cock while sam is mastrubating. Now she just gets angy at you.
