Dark-verse somehow has me thinking "The Thing from Darkest Dungeon 1 has awakened. Or worse, we're in the hellscape of DD2 after that ritual that sent everything insane."

Judging by the images on their subscribestar, probably artstyle will be different.
That's really sad, it's not what I was expecting.

Of course it's too early to judge, the release will show everything.

I mean, this is SDG's version of Danny, if that gives you a better idea of style choices being made.. We'll be implementing the style changes more appropriately, so that people won't have a visceral reaction to say something like Paulina's changed Park scene, where her face was far too anime. In hindsight, blinded a bit before by how I thought the new art looked GOOD, I do think I was personally biased by ignoring the people saying it didn't really look like Paulina anymore. I think the main motif we're gonna try to keep is "faces and hair, keep them looking like the 2D characters. But I wasn't in charge of design philosophy in either the original art, or the Redux style changes for Amity Park before either, so.

I think people were being fair about a number of criticisms, but it's a bit of the Sunk Cost philosophy. "N-no!! Shut up! The artwork's good, you people are just too closed minded! These newly commissioned art pieces are *infinitely* better than before!"

You kinda get taken for a ride if you don't try and put things into context and step back a bit to see if you're completely "in the right".

Psymind is wrapping up work on Jazz, and has said his goal right now is to complete the Fenton family first, so it'll be a toss up whether or not he trolls everybody and does Jack first lol We also got same inspiration for Sam and how to differentiate her design from Amity Park's old one while still making her recognizable as Sam. She'll likely be the next model made after the Fenton's are complete.

But I'll post Maddie here as soon as I can, same as Jazz when we've nailed down the placement of her head band and all agreed upon her base pose.

Seems kind of pointless story stuff, mostly as should just focus on Danny's story, not the personal life of what is happening to Jack. Whatever we add, our goal is to provide as much player choice as possible to see and do what they want, and negate what they don't. Could even be a sexless run of the game, who knows!

About NTR I'm not sure,
On one side, the netorare scene (the optocus) wasn't popular.
But on the other there is demand for Netori I mean who doesn't want to take Kitty from Johnny. And technicly we're cucking dad and with Maddie, sorry Jack!

That aside, a virgin run in a porn game would be pretty funny, Danny protecting his innocence from the the hungry ghost, enemies and friends alike? That reminds me of luka in MGQ.

Yeah, pretty much that ectopuss scene to choose to save the mom or not I feel could of been left out and put into dev time that went toward someplace else instead of making a small one off scene. And yeah, we pretty much where netori ing Maddie from Jack. And like I mentioned, the scenes with the two could of also been the same as above since those were also one off scenes in a way besides make people who wanted her to be purely Danny's love interest to be not happy about it that I'm sure it made a lot of boners go down. Also forgot to mention it happens to Paulina with the ectopuss to save her or not. that also could of been the same also as the rest I mentioned.

If I remember correctly the creators changed their mind on that content where Maddie would fall for Vlad. Also a virginity run? At this point I don't think that is possible. The closest you can do is pick Sam for most of the stuff and ignore a lot of things, but eventually you will come up to the point where you will have to sleep with someone.

We're not working on Amity Park, this is a new game we're discussing.
