It occurs to me that perhaps I find the way mouths are drawn with this style a little offputting, lol. Just the way they're on the side of their faces.

Well, Danny Phantom aired in 2004. I believe it was more or less when anime was finally becoming more mainstream, so teha artist might have been a bit influenced by it (many anime have the characters' mouths just like that)

In the show, the mouth was often off to the opposite side of the chin, probably to indicate what direction they were facing when not being view straight on or from the side. I did notice though on Maddie and Paulina's art the mouth was more central to the face whilst Sam's and Ember are to the inner side, so it could just be from it being a WIP rather than a final image.

Hello everyone,

We owe you all a heartfelt apology for our long silence. The past months have been unusually quiet, and we deeply regret any concerns this may have caused. Your continuous support and patience during this period mean the world to us, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us.

To be transparent, the reasons behind our slowdown in communication and development pace are manifold. Ambitiously, we planned more than we could handle with our dual projects, "Breeding Farm" and "Amity Park". Juggling both has proven more challenging than anticipated.

Additionally, I, GZone, have faced personal struggles with burnout and depression. The loss of a close friend last year deeply affected me, leading me to reevaluate many of my life decisions. This loss, combined with my responsibilities, diverted my focus from our projects to other interests, including the exploration of AI technologies. Last year, we developed "CeceAi," an AI chatbot. In hindsight, this may not have been what you all expected or needed from us. We ventured into various AI-related enhancements like AI voices and custom Python tools aimed at improving our games. Unfortunately, these efforts consumed much time without the intended payoff, further detracting from our core projects.

I must confess that these diversions and my personal challenges have led to a loss of motivation and an unintentional focus on side projects. For this, we are truly sorry.

Moving forward, we’re recommitting to our projects, specifically "Amity Park." We're focusing all our efforts on preparing an exciting update, which we aim to release by the end of next month.

Once again, we apologize for the long period of silence. Thank you for your understanding and the immense support you've shown us. We're excited to bring you new updates soon.

Sincerely,
Team Bieno

I think it's a bit insincere to say "We owe you all a heartfelt apology for our long silence. The past months have been unusually quiet, and we deeply regret any concerns this may have caused." When it was because GZone, without saying anything to anybody, just up and left for months.

He had his IRL issues that he needed to deal with, sure, but you can't just do that. He did a poor job communicating with patreon members (I hope he at least paused it, real shifty if he didn't) and a worse job communicating with his team to the point where some have left and are making a spiritual successor. Like, that's not a decision made in a week or two.

I wish him and the remaining team the best, but I'll just wait for Dark Dimension, personally. Hopefully GZone won't go ghost for the umpteenth time.

He might have but Gzone_art is still down. Only time will tell.

Regardless, I wish both projects well and hope for good things to come, since that way I get twice as much of Maddie's milfilicious booty!
They're the same picture team. I really doubt they'd do the same game twice at the same time

Ah, I didn't take that into account. I thought only of booty.
The question now is how long it will take for him to disappear again
Another reason to wish for the best for both, that way if one stops we still have the other game! Dark Dimensions intrigues me and the take on the original story in Amity Park is what hooked me in the first place, and I know its a little selfish of me, but I really want to see how both stories end.

Nah.

I think it's all excuses, and exaggerating the drama.
I don't deny that dev has faced problems, who doesn't, but I think the main reason is: 1)the fact that he had a steady big income on patreon, 2)and of course laziness( familiar situation cough.. Milfy cough.. City)

If the patreon page hadn't taken down, he wouldn't have gotten in touch. And oh, what a coincidence, right at the end of the month.

All these tearful excuses are just a pretense so that the community and colleagues don't get too angry at him. So they'll say, 'Oh, poor thing, of course we forgive you, because you had problems, you're great, we'll support you...'

I mean, he didn't even answer to his team, when they tried to reach out to him.
He just took all the money for himself and in his thought flipped everyone, his team and community.

Open letter to Gzone.

I had great hopes for AP, but you fucked up. You are the inverse of an outstanding, extraordinary person. I wish your former team the best with their upcoming game.

You have a membership on this forum which you could have used at anytime following your last login (Oct 3, 2023) to apologize to the people you stole from but chose not to. Just to prove how much of a scumbag you are, you made a post on patreon regarding an update to Breeding Farm. As if you needed to show how much more of a scumbag you could be: the apology immediately followed an attempt to drum up interest and more subs for Breeding Farm. The two posts were literally made within minutes of each other. You should seek employment as a car salesman or a preacher.

I and many posters here are not falling for your bullshit half-ass apology.
You bailed on many loyal patrons and even more potential customers whose subs (in excess of thousands of dollars) afforded you opportunities, a cash cow and more. Only for you to continually screw them over by doing the following:

A. Chose to give less attention to AP in terms of updates while continuing to charge for subs. Ironically, the game which you made more money from you chose to ignore for a less popular game.
B. Pushing updates to AP (when they did come) but not letting customers "know" that a decision was to remove content. IIRC this was found and reported by posters in this thread, not you.
C. Due to your wonderful business acumen, inability to manage more than 1 project, shitty communication skills, etc; the artist left. You made a public post asking for a replacement artist "with no pay" while you continued to take in and push for more subs.
D. Switched to a once per year update schedule, while still pushing and charging for monthly subs.

Someone tried to give a reasoning for your being gone for months on end due to constant outages in europe.
A. Their wasn't continuous outages.
B. Before your "hiatus" their was a team of more than 1 person working on AP and the other game. Either you are a moron and couldn't fathom typing something along the lines of: "Hey, team. I have personal and or business issues, and I need some time. Take over until I feel I'm in a better place." Or (and I prefer this one) you are just a greedy fuck that came up with a way to bail and "attempt" to steal from customers. Only to realize: "Oh shit, funds running low, I better make a half-ass apology in order to do this all again! Maybe I won't seem like an out of touch douche bag if I post the apology right after I try and drum up interest and subs for BF!"

Here's how you fix your image and reputation, if you haven't already completely fucked both of those up:
A. Refund every cent of money in the form of subs that you took in while the above mentioned bullshit was occurring.
B. Make a lot of apologies to customers / fans and your former team. I will let you know when you are done apologizing.
C. Remove yourself from working on a game ever again and hand over anything that was created before your "hiatus" in terms of an update towards AP to your former team, the people who you bailed on and left holding the bag.
D. Find work in a different industry. You aren't suited for anything that relies on communication, project management, or not being an out of touch scammer.
E. Change the name from "Team Bieno" to "Team Fuckstick." It's just you now and whatever low IQ person feels the need to hang around you after the shit you pulled.

A spiritual successor is announced that is moving forward at a breakneck pace with great art and suddenly this guy comes crawling back saying, "Wait! Don't leave!"

What are the chances lmao
Yep.

Don't believe a word Gzone says. His track record has proven he's a liar and is completely unreliable.

I feel sorry for the people who for whatever reason get suckered in again and pay money to this thief. Let him prove his intentions by actually doing some real work and delivering a full and complete update that isn't just a rearranging of assets. THEN pay him based on what he delivers - NOT before.

If you haven't, I would consider making a discussion thread for the new game, it would be a good way to keep things organized.
