Do we have to use a new save, because I REALLY don't want to have to play through all of the old content again just to level up with Desiree and Maddie (though it would be nice if you could create a save from the new game where you choose the episode and, if it takes place after prom, choose who you went to prom with) Also, is the update just a revamp of the old content, because when I reloaded my old save (which is right before the Jazz shower scene), it doesn't offer any new missions.

It's completely unbalanced. Enemies that were no challenge in previous chapters are hard now since it seems that every single enemy has heavy regen. You spend a few turns hacking away at their health, get them near dead, and suddenly they've got 3/4ths of the health you took of of them back, but you can't do anything about it because you used up most of your MP, you don't have orgone, and your health is basically nill. Either I missed something in the explanation, or it's just horrifyingly unbalanced in favor of the enemies. This is pornography, not dark souls. Literally no one is playing for the gameplay. Why do people making porn games never seem to get this?

Start new game. Episode select. New Kate Mission. New girl's to choose from for Episode 7's double Orgone. That's the new content, all in Episode 7 still. Don't use old saves.

I think it's because it hasn't been integrated in at the ground level, people aren't familiar with it. I've been playing this game professionally now for two years, so it's never been tricky for me (Admittedly that one dragon fight is bullshit, but I think we've fixed that). So once i think the Redux update has all the combat integrated in properly, it shouldn't be hard. Idk, it's just not hard to me, and now you can just select "No" instead of trying to beat the story missions if you really want, but maybe we'll talk about putting in a cheat or something to skip battles if it's really that hard for some players.

Agreed, porn shouldnt need a balance patch. This was one of my favorite games here, i now have no desire to play it because i cant beat a cobra that puts 10 stacks a poison on me and in spite of having full health, the 10 stacks then drain it all away entirely on the next turn. I know i cant complain too much cause im not paying for anything but an instant win button or a god mode cheat that works would go a long way. (tried the health cheat and while it says "cheat successful" when entered, dannys health stays at 600 reguardless. )

I had fun with the combat before this recent update. It was quick, easy, and added that extra interactive element that coomers just can't appreciate. Now the combat is absolutely ridiculous. I dread combat now. Good game, just put the combat back to how it was before. If it ain't broke don't fix it describes this perfectly.

The Cobra fight sure was hard but somehow i got through at the 3rd replay or so ( merely through sheer luck i would say ). But at another fight sequence ,i think it was embers first encounter, I ´ve found a way to "cheese" through the fighting encounters so to speak (don´t know if it works for you so give it a try if you want).
I wanted to take a screenshot and accidentally hit "d" on the keyboard. The sript was reloaded and as soon as the fight was begin to start an error message accured. I hit "ignore" and after that the fight was immediately registered as "won". Don´t know if this is a bug or due to the fact how Ren´Py engine works though
